Jsleezy's Real Fighter Portrait Pack

This mod was created to add a little realism and personality to the game. This is a re-placer for all original portraits.

Hello!

I love and use all of your mods, thank you Neonchuy (or Jsleezy), especially this one, it makes the game much more immerisve, and I actually care for my soldiers now.

Also I'd like to ask you a mod request: Could you get rid or change the dorky looking people in the background, that are in the base screens? (Scientist, Engineer, Warehous dude etc.). Actually this very badly done artwork keeps me from playing the game (Yes I am weird)!

Thanks again for your nice mods!

PS: Why is the Nexus so empty I wonder? It seems the game isn't very popular

Thanks! That was the whole point of the mod and I'm glad that there are others who see it the same way I do.

That's actually not a bad idea and it might not be too hard. I'll most definitely will look into it when I get this mod 100% completed.

My mods are the only ones being hosted on the Nexus; however if you go to the official forums a lot of the other moders are hosting theirs trough other sites and trough dropbox:

hey really nice job! but for now i think i like the premade faces (because i found a little weird that only my soldiers have those realistic faces and everyone on the base dont xD,maybe if you later updated all them i gladly use it) but for now i want to ask ...if i do all the steps but 3 ..would i get all those "unused" vainilla faces ? (sorry if i cant explain myself im spanish)

Hey, thanks. I'm planning to eventually update all the background artwork eventually to have the same look and feel.

As for the your questions, then yes you can just use the XML files to free the soldier pool without using the artwork.

I'm getting pretty close to finishing the predator armor. I was hoping to have it done tonight but I've had a few delays.

Great mod, really adds to the atmosphere. I didn't like the cartoon portraits that ship with the game.

These faces look a little out of place inside the cartoon hanger and wearing the cartoon armour. But, it's better than having half my team look like Sebastian Vettel. It's not like he is a very unattractive man, I just don't know why the artist wanted to recreate his face 30 times in slightly differing aspects...
