Geralt of Rivia - The Witcher Texture Mod

This mod aims to recreate Geralts outfit from the first Witcher game on PC.

Oh no way! Looks great, definitely gonna download it!

I'd absolutely love to see more armours from the Witcher.

I'd definitely do some recoloring of my own but, well, I have no idea how to do it. If someone want's to share a tutorial or a helpful forum where I can learn it, that'd be awesome!

If you have Gimp, make a new layer above the texture, set the mode to Color, and color away. This just recolors the texture, keeps the details. Great for beginners.

Try googling for better tutorials that are more in depth.

Another tip, I find it easy to make a layer called guide, then take a random color and just scribble over an area where I don't know where it will appear on the model, then check in game and take shots as a reference.

In response to post #15374860.

I just erased it from the PNG. Worked great for what I wanted to do, but I wanted to get rid of the shawl, but for some reason the color/hood looking thing and the buckle for the shawl would not go away even though I erased them.

So some textures can be erased and go away fine, others not.
