New Vegas is crashing on me every time I try to exit Vault 22 and I can't figure out why.

Any ideas as to why this is happening? (Really don't want to start over since I'm 18 hours into this character.

 

Specs:

GPU: GTX 660

CPU: FX-4100 Quad Core

8GB RAM

Win 7 Ultimate

im having the exact same issue and its sooo annoying have you found any fix?

I used to have a lot of crashes in Vault 22, they stopped when I installed NVAC.

Perhaps 2 mods are having conflicts when leaving vault 22.

Do you have the vault 22 overhaul mod installed?

I would recommend downloading FNVEdit at the nexus: http://www.nexusmods...as/mods/34703/? and booting it up, after it boots it loads your mods and scans for errors that may occur. There are plenty of tutorials out there on it. Feel free to ask for help if you have trouble with this.

A lot of people have the same problem.

To avoid it -- Purge Cell Buffer (command code "PCB") before you exit vault 22, also before fast travel from Brotherhood bunker and the dam.
