A personal thought on the three basic elemental spells.

Because it's not a true projectile so much as a stream... Wouldn't something like this be suitable?

Firesparks > Project Flame
Icewind > Project Frost
Lightning Sparks > Project Lightning (or Sparks)

Myself, I can't think of another really logical way that mages would describe the projection of raw elemental energy other than, well.. Projecting. XD

It also significantly differentiates them from the other elemental spells which have projectiles.

Edit: Also, axonis, I love your ideas for potion names, but perhaps we could revise the way potion qualities are handled? =D Something like..

Potion of Stamina (Deficient) > Weak Potion of Stamina
Potion of Stamina (Faint) > Lesser Potion of Stamina
Potion of Stamina (Fair) > Potion of Stamina
Potion of Stamina (Good) > Greater Potion of Stamina
Potion of Stamina (Remarkable) > Stout Potion of Stamina
Potion of Stamina (Surpassing) > Supreme Potion of Stamina

Of course those are just ideas, but.. I figured since we're trying to move away from "ranked" dynamics, that would line up with editing the spell names, yes?

Note: Those are your edited "Recuperation" potions.

Edit 2: Yes, I was late to the party.

In response to post #16189970.

Unfortunately these names will only apply to over-the-counter potions and not homemade ones. As Ogerboss had pointed out, homemade potions are always named using the form: "Potion of <effect name>".

Therefore such a naming would seriously confuse potions of the same function.

I even considered removing the parenthetical rank but that would still make potions of the same effect appear as different items in the inventory... which already happens for homemade potions. But since there is often a vast difference between homemade potions and over-the-counter, I think this is the best possible compromise.

In response to post #16189970. #16213250 is also a reply to the same post.

Hmmm... I did overlook the brewed potions. To eliminate confusion (if my original suggestion wasn't to be thrown out entirely) perhaps..

Potion of Stamina (Deficient) > Weak Potion of Stamina
Potion of Stamina (Faint) > Lesser Potion of Stamina
Potion of Stamina (Fair) > Moderate Potion of Stamina
Potion of Stamina (Good) > Greater Potion of Stamina
Potion of Stamina (Remarkable) > Stout Potion of Stamina
Potion of Stamina (Surpassing) > Supreme Potion of Stamina

This way, all of the over-the-counter potions would have strength prefixes and would be easily distinguishable from custom potions, without the (still slightly odd) parenthetical suffix.. And of course, the custom potions would completely lack the quality indicator. ^^ Just a thought.
