Skyrim crashing randomly

Hello all,

My Skyrim keeps crashing randomly. It could be while fighting, adventuring or even inside of my house.

 

PC Specs:

It's a gaming laptop, below are the specs.

Intel i7-4700mq 2.40 ghz

8gm ram

64 bit operating system

Nvidia GeForce GT 750m

 

I get constant fps around 50, so not sure if its my pc not being able to handle it(runs smooth until it crashes) or if theres a mod conflict. I've ran both Boss and TESEdit.

You are using too many mods. You should consider trimming your mod list then starting a new game. That said, we can try and stabilize, as much as possible, this setup.

 

1) Uninstall Warzone. It is buggy, has not been updated for the latest official patch, and no longer supported by the author. Go into an interior cell with no NPCs before you do this, and wait for 31 days inside the cell. Alternatively, start a new game after you uninstall it.

 

2) Cleaning: download TES5Edit from the link in your BOSS log, follow the instruction on the same page, and clean the plugins flagged by BOSS as containing 'dirty edits' (except where BOSS indicates the 'dirty edits' are 'intentional'), including the DLC and update esm's. You'll need to remove identical to master entries as well as undelete/disable deleted references.

 

3) Maintenance: go through the entire BOSS log line by line and look for any error messages that require your attention. For example:

These are just some examples, I didn't list all the issues you need to address (there are many), so you would need to go through the BOSS log yourself and attend to every single error message.

 

4) I would recommend you uninstall this mod:

You could attempt to clean the plugin, but the sheer number of duplicate to master entries left in the plugin puts the mod author's level of expertise in question. You can also check the mod's download page to see if the mod author has released a new version of the mod that has cleaned the 'dirty edits' (in fact, you should check all of your mods to make sure they are all updated to the latest version). I would also recommend you uninstall any 'Better Cities...' series mods. Those plugins and usually very dirty and contain 'wild edits' which will not show up as 'dirty edits', and cannot be auto-cleaned via the TES5Edit cleaning filter. I'd also recommend uninstalling the mods that have been flagged with 'navmesh errors', unless you want to try fixing them yourself.

 

5) I recommend you download the Unofficial Skyrim Patch, and any unofficial patches for DLCs you have, including the hi-res DLC.

 

6) Did BOSS generate a list of plugins it did not recognize?

 

7) Are you using any mods that do not come with plugins and would not show up in a BOSS log, like texture or body replacers?

Hello,

Thank you for looking into it. The other night i already started going through the boss error's and getting rid of the ones it said was out dated i guess i forgot to delete them after disabling them my bad on that.

 

I'm going to be acutally removing all my mods besides the ones i have downloaded recently from here since i started playing again and just keep it to a lower amount i kind of figured it was the issue but at the same time i didnt feel like having to go through steam to unsubscribe to everything i was to and uninstall it.

 

I'm working on it now and will update later on after im done to see if its improve i will also follow your other advice as well.
