As I said I don't really use any of the follower controllers. I use - followers lite, ( sorry I can't remember the first word.) This mod only allows me to bring more followers with me, it does not have any follower controlls. The only control I have is that provided by the character mod creator. The other mod I use is relaxed followers which allows followers to stay in one place without me dismissing them.

Besides those I use Vilja, Cerwiden, Arissa, Sophia, Mirai, Danariel, Aurora/Twilight, and now Selena/?. I also have Helgen reborn and Falskaar.

Another problem has reared up. Last night I went to the male character that came with Selena and since I hadn't taken him on yet I thought I would use the changer on him. I could see his default armor so what were his other clothes. I hit the button and he disappeared except for his face and hands, in a few seconds he reappeared... only now he is a mannequin. Fortunately he had the good sense to slide himself back against the wall. A little creepy though, I can still talk to him. And Selena still will not dismiss.

You have something messed up in the save, Arissa, Sophia are heavily scripted, also have their own voices and behavior, often such mods dirty saves

Hey I downloaded the Standard CBBE UNP one but I can only see the teeth, eyes and hair floating in the air. The rest is invisible? What did I do wrong and how do I fix this?

Ok, here I am taking a tiny little break from Skyrim, all innocently playing Wolfenstein, next thing I know this mod is up and already in the hotfiles .

Congrats on the release and making it to the hotfiles in no time.
Downloaded, endorsed and I will vote for this in three-something days time.

Based on above, I'm assuming that you are trying to use the old mod called Fixed Followers Lite. That is probably a likely cause for most of your problems. It has not been updated since April 2012, and there are several people reporting on that mod page, that it is broken starting as far back as Skyrim version 1.8. I would recommend that you dismiss all of your followers, uninstall that mod, and install a proper Follower Extender like AFT/EFF/UFO, which is still compatible with the current version of the game. Unfortunately, you may still have some lingering problems, depending on what scripts or other mods you had in the past.

Also, re-reading your first comment, about Selena just sitting after being dismissed, that could either be due to the old mod above not working. But she and most of our followers have a sandbox package, so that if they are dismissed and in the same room as you, they will actually do something instead of just standing around or walking directly back home.

Thank you, I was wondering if that mod might have been the problem after I reread what I had written this morning. Unfortunately here at work I don't have all the information that I needed to investigate. Thank you again. BTW beside Vilja, Aurora/Twilight, Danariel, and Selena are my daughter and my favorite followers. All the yacking and smart comments have gotten old quickly along with all the problems the new breed seems to be having. Thanks again for the answer and your hard work.

Ok, now we have the follower versions but how can we go about playing as one of these exquisite characters? I want to play as Vahelmin then get Selena as a follower

great mod but that neck seams, mismatch head and body textures got me uninstall.
