Just wanted to report that everything is working properly now that SkyDream MerMaids is out of beta & I've updated to the official release. I no longer have any issues like in my original post with Riften Misfits. Thanks for everything you guys do to ensure any bugs/glitches are fixed. Peace!

Based on above, I'm assuming that you are trying to use the old mod called Fixed Followers Lite. That is probably a likely cause for most of your problems. It has not been updated since April 2012, and there are several people reporting on that mod page, that it is broken starting as far back as Skyrim version 1.8. I would recommend that you dismiss all of your followers, uninstall that mod, and install a proper Follower Extender like AFT/EFF/UFO, which is still compatible with the current version of the game. Unfortunately, you may still have some lingering problems, depending on what scripts or other mods you had in the past.

Also, re-reading your first comment, about Selena just sitting after being dismissed, that could either be due to the old mod above not working. But she and most of our followers have a sandbox package, so that if they are dismissed and in the same room as you, they will actually do something instead of just standing around or walking directly back home.

Sorry this is so late. Actually I have Multiple Followers Lite, but I have determined to get rid of it and go with one of the big ones. The problem is everything I've read says I have to dismiss them to get rid of one and install the other. Unfortunately, Selena, Aurora, Danariel, and others will not dismiss. In their conversation menus the dismiss command is dark gray. I can use it and they respond that they are leaving, the upper left corner of the screen says they left, but they don't, they still follow me around the house reminding me that they are threre and how they have my back.

Okay I can't dismiss them. Should I deactivate them in NMM or delete them completely or is there another work around

Hi there, sorry for the delay, if you are changing follower overhaul mods, you need to dismiss the followers first, but if you can't dismiss them due to issues, then you are probably going to have to disable everything and do a save without any of the mods and then activate the overhaul mod and the followers. I have had to do this a ton of times.

Thanks for the reply. In reading more of the forums I found that many of the game supplied characters can cause problems with the downloaded characters. In my case it was Jordis the sword maiden. After spending a considerable amount of time with her in command console the downloaded characters began to work better, at least I was able to dismis them (follower count in console was 0). Slipped out the old organizer and slip in the new. I had only one casualty, my daughters Danariel broke completely taking "wolf cry armor" with her. Anyway thanks for your help and the continued support for your beautiful characters.

Hi there, very sorry about the wolf armor, you can try and add it back via console command. I have done that a few times.

Hello Daphni, how you been? Got a question for you. A while back on one of your first mods, we discussed the issue with the girls having some fur down stairs lol, well anyway i love this mod and have recently got my fiance addicted to skyrim and this mod, so basically this question comes from her...she would like to know why Vahelmin is wearing underwear and if anything can be done about it.
