To power the interior maybe make it eat fusion batteries and a tiny little generator as the input?

not a bad idea, but my scripting is limited, though I am considering starting it bare and adding upgrades in the future (sorta like house themes)

I'll look into it, in the meantime I use rpg (portable gadgets) as they work nicely and I've modded in some custom records (nothing like gunning down hoards of super mutants to the doors;) ).
