So, when I walked into the greenery type room in the underground vault, I clicked past when it was talking about what you could do in there. So can anyone tell me exactly how you plant and apple tree or what not and have it grow?

You have to have an apple in your inventory, then go over to the sacks, there is a blue light on the left, click it and it will give you an option, cant remember exactly what it says, but it will ask you something like sort seeds or sort food and it will place them into the labelled sacks, then click plant seeds, then it will take care of the rest, there is also a water valves next to one of the doors you have to turn on, I always just left it on(don't know if you have to or not), it will take 3 days for your plant to fully mature witch will allow them to be harvested.
