Wohoo, the update is here! I've been checking every half hour today and now it's out. Thank you Adonnay! :)

Excuse me please, I've got a game to play...

I didn't get everything I wanted to into the new update (i.e. size changes, more lighting fixes) but I hope the new meshes make up for it ;)

Looking forward for your feedback.

P.S. Schoene Gruesse zurueck nach Muenchen ;)

Frick. Adonnay strikes again.

First you make the absolutely essential weaponry mods in Oblivion, and now once again you storm the scene with easily the best looking blades available for DAO.

I concur that the models need to be scaled down some. I'm sure that will come in future releases. Any chance of getting versions that do not require DAO ModManager? I don't use it and don't intend to just for this mod. Manual copying to the override folder works fine, but some of the blade textures get "lost" in the process. I don't mind, since the blades come out black, which looks pretty cool with the reflections and such still in place.

I've now seen the Dalish dagger ingame and I can't say anything other than: amazing! It's simple, elegant, ornate, but not frilly. I'm in love with this weapon, thank you so much!

PS: You mention as a "known issue", that enchantments are not displayed, for me that is actually an advantage. I'm using a mod to remove enchantment visuals anyway, but it didn't stop poison effects to be displayed and I hated having green or bluish clouds around my blades. So, not an "issue" for me at all, more like yet another selling point (not that the mod needed another one).

PPS @ SirTopas: I'm not using the modmanager either, but instead unpack the mod twice with 7zip. Works like a charm and I don't experience any missing textures.

i agree with the weapons needing to be scaled down a bit. the longswords look like greatswords especially on elves.

but otherwise, this is a great mod, and i like these weapon models than the original.

I loved your mods in Oblivion and was so eagerly awaiting these for DAO. I was however wondering... and I am sure this is a pain in the A@@ question.. I love the look of the keening blade, and wonder if there is any way to have this somehow packaged so that we could pick and choose? But aside from that I bow to your greatness.. I think the elven blades look just fine, they are beautiful. Thanks again for your contributions.

I packaged each weapon in a folder especially for that purpose. You can easily delete single folders and revert the model back to the original one.
