In response to post #7542314.

It's right up top in the mod description

***This time you will have to edit the respective variation file, i.e. longsword_variations.gda for the longswords, dagger_variations.gda for the daggers and so on. A very handy (and small footprint, no installation necessary) tool is the GDAApp. I strongly recommend it for quick and easy gda changes. To revert a weapon back to its original model, open the respective variation gda and change the string "adXY" (where XY stand for the weapon number you want to change) to "lsXY", "dgXY" or "gsXY" for longswords, daggers or greatswords. You notice that you've done something wrong when the weapon you wanted to change doesn't show up at all. Deleting single lines out of the variations gda will NOT work. Deleting a whole variation gda will revert ALL weapons of that type back to the stock models. ***

(Hopefully) Easier to understand instructions:1. Download GDAApp2. Go to the override folder and find "Adonnay's Weapon Replacer", open it up.3. Use GDAApp to Open the variation file for the weapon you want to change. (i.e. daggers_variation for a dagger, etc). You can do this by right-clicking on the file (in Windows) and finding "open with" then navigating to where you installed GDApp and choosing it. You can also set GDApp as the default program to open those files this way.4. Look at the images on this mod page to see what weapon name refers to which model (e.g. "ad01" corresponds to "dg01")5. In the .gda file you opened with GDApp, the fourth column to the right labeled "MODELSUBTYPE" is the one that you want to change. Find the one that has the name of the weapon that you want to change. Then double click on it, and change the name to the weapon that you want it to look like. For instance, if you want to change Adonnay's longsword 3 labelled "ad03" to look like the default game longsword 5 labelled "ls05", then you would go to the square under "MODELSUBTYPE" that says "ad03", double click on it so you change the text, then change it to "ls05". 6. Save your changes to the GDA file by clicking File->Save at the top.7. Open the game and check to see that Adonnay's longsword 3 (or whatever weapon model you changed) now looks like Default longsword 5 (or whatever model you changed it to.)8. You should be able to change the model to any weapon that comes with it's own variation gda value, but as far as I know you can only change to the same weapon type. It won't work if you try to change a dagger to a greatsword model for instance.Good luck.

This mod doesn't have any bugs. If you are having instability after running the *game* for a long time, such as extremely long load times and terrible combat lag, that's probably just a problem with the game or other mods that make extensive changes to the game. There were memory leak problems that I think were supposed to be fixed in patch 1.05 for most people, but I'm not sure if it worked for everyone. All this mod does is add dagger meshes and textures, it won't cause game instability.

How do I go about changing Starfang and Maric's sword since they're not in the variation file?

I tried installing the updated version-- completely deleted the previous version's folder, and installed the new one with Modmanager as instructed-- yet the blades in my game are still vanilla. The old version with the folder instead of the .override file works, however.

What do you use to open the override file, the GDAApp doesn't open it ?

Never mind, figured it out; however when I try to use model ls07 from the photo it comes up as the basic Starfang. When I changed it to ad07 (thinking there was a typo), there was no model. So what is the model in the 0.90 longswords pic?

The only thing keeping me from using this mod is the fact that I can't make Starfaing and Maric's sword change to the models I want. How might I go about doing this? They're not in the GDA so I can't affect them.
