I bought the house in Anvil for 5K and got the deed and key, etc. and it says I can rename the house by filing duplicate forms with the Imperial Archives or something. Any idea how to do this? Also, even though the house is somewhat furnished, it's in disrepair and very dark inside. How do I buy new furniture or make the lighting better inside? Thanks.

Sorry I don't know anything about renaming the deed to the house, but as far as furnishing the house go upstairs and sleep it over first ;)

Since no one will give you a straight forward answer about how th ehouse gets furnished, I feel obligated.

You sleep in the house once, ghosts attack you, complete the designated assignment and your house is furnished.

As for renaming it, the Imperial Archives are located in the Imperial City (surprise). Speak to someone inside about it.

I did the quest for the house and got it all fixed up but can I get a straightforward answer on how to rename my house? "It's in Imperial City" doesn't help much...

Ok, I want a straightforward answer... EXCATLY HOW do I rename my house? I went to the Imperial Commerce Office and talked to the lady but she didn't have any topics relating to renaming your house or anything. I don't know how to do it...

Also, in the deed to the house, it says you have to file forms with the Anvil Construction whatever as well...
