I think i have pretty much tried everything. After a fresh OS install, reinstalling steam, skyrim and the rest i can't locate the source of no DoF for various ENB's.
In my previous install i used Realvision and DoF was working fine.
I have tried checking all the .ini files and the bFloatPointRenderTarget=1, which was a confirmed fix for a thread on the ENBDEV site and the problem was closed. This is not a fix for me.
I have tried EWI's High Skyrim Prefs, which also lists bFloatPointRenderTarget=1. Still doesn't work.
I have tried multiple ENB's (Realvision, Sharpshooters and Project ENB), which all use a different ENB binary in the hope that it might be something to do with the current v254. Still doesn't work.
All the game settings (MSAA, SSAO, FXAA and AF) are set to off and where possible they are set to application-controlled in the video driver control panel. I have a GTX 560ti and only Anisotropic Filtering and Antialiasing can be set to application-controlled.
I started using STEP on the Nexus (until i got totally fed up with it), which suggested using Nvidia Inspector to create a profile for Skyrim. I made some edits for STEP and on renouncing STEP i reset to it's defaults. However, i notice that the inspector doesn't install on Windows and i am a bit dubious as to how it has made changes to the videocard and whether all settings were returned to default. Subsequently i have reset settings to default on the NVidia Control Panel just to be sure. Still to no avail. No DoF.
I just don't get it. Any help with this troubleshooting would be gratefully received.
