Phenomenal. Truly this tale of yours is a magnum opus. *wild applause*
The images you've selected here are the cream of the crop too. Very well done dear.

Woah... how much work it must have been, to create this timeline!
Absolutely great Jon!
I´m a bit confused now. Grim is 23 years old, and Erik is 18
How can a very young man like Grim and a...ehm..teenager like Erik look, like they are looking now?
Is it the age that makes them looking older, the hard life in Skyrim, or maybe the gods?

Many thanks Jess! A couple I used from old shots but the majority I spent over a week taking fresh for just this post, glad you liked them!

Many thanks Heidie and glad you enjoyed it.
As for the ages ... They do look a bit older than their age but based on what little I know of ancient life, where 20 was middle age and few people lived past age 40, that it is the hard life of Skyrim coupled with a lot of dirt, scrapes, and scars. Granted this is also a world where magic exists and I expect the life line of many folks is really widespread. Those with access to wealth/power/magic can probably live a lot longer, and remain younger looking, thanks to potions, magic, and divine assistance not to mention longer lived races like the mer. Poorer folks probably are closer to the middle ages on Earth, not counting the high death rate due to dragons, monsters, bandits, undead, and the like
I am not sure if the above is enough reason to explain it so I will also give another reason - I just wanted them younger in age but mature looking in appearance
. I wanted them looking more rough and tough yet also be young enough to have a long future ahead of them. I could have made them look a lot younger of course (there are skin textures for that - Genox younger faces and ones by Urshi) and even aged them over time (if I had known how long I was going to be doing these stories I probably would have).
But in the end I also play the game and want to enjoy looking at them as they look now - mature and rugged men in their prime ready to face the dangers of Skyrim. Just like in a game, where sometimes you give up reality for fun, I did the same thing with their ages and looks.
