I wouldn't mind shelling out some caps to upgrade the manager's office/storeroom maybe turn the storeroom to a proper bedroom fit for a part/full owner of a Lolipopz branch (no more sleeping on a couch please) and add your own jukebox and stripper pole to it for some private performances. also how about a magazine stand in the main lobby so when you publish a new issue it will show up there, the customers may come for the pros but they might want to grab the latest issue on the way out.

Suggestions:

1) More male models. The more the merrier. I love the fact that we get a He-3, but we kinda need a few more options with it. I was thinking maybe throw a few legionarres in as options for those doing either a pro legion game or just for those of us who don't slaughter the legion as a gut reaction. Ditto goes for vault 19 powder gangers, NCRCF powder gangers and the like. Make it difficult if it needs to be, that's cool.

2) With Quo Vagis, we got expansion crossover characters. I think the same could be done here as well. Honest Hearts has a ton of material to work with, but I could see tossing a few goodies into the other expansions as well. I'll elaborate on this in other points.

3) Allow us to create a Francesca Coy follower that is upgradeable. I am automatically assuming this would need OWB and/or possibly Project Nevada installed to truly work, though the RobCo Certified Mod would add some nice features as well potentially. My idea would basically be that you would start with the tesla coil based brain from OWB either by going back for it or constructing from parts (4-5 gauss rifles, 6-10 scrap electronics, 5 sensor modules or some kind of similar setup). Then you would construct a body bit by bit until you could assemble a synthetic francesca. You could utilize your own OWB parts, cybernetic implants, scrap parts, or whatever makes the most sense from a mod authorship perspective. There would naturally be skill checks to build each step and these would be very high level checks. Then you could do the movie quest and not have to off Handy (which I think is a bloody terrible tradeoff and one of my few criticisms of this otherwise phenomenal mod).

4) Allow us to create a holo-suite for rent. We can still use the helmet as part of it, but I feel like you could hide some goodies in the Sierra Madre and/or lightwave dynamics to either upgrade or recreate the experience without being an evil douche about it. I'm thinking the Dean Domino probably has a S*** ton of material recorded of great acts of the past that would be fabulous additions to the repertoire.

5) Let us repair the train system. Between Pahrump, West side, Free Side, and the NCR share-croppers, there are plenty of poor jerks who would kill to get a better paycheck laying track. You could even give karma options. Pay Well and Feed = Good karma and faster work, Pay Well = Lower Good karma, Pay normal = No karmic effect, etc. At the end, say.... 20-30 days we get a working train system and a gigantic boost to profit. After the intial line is fixed, we might even be able to expand it with stops elsewhere in the mojave. I use "Run the Lucky 38" as an example here. It added tunnels connecting the Lucky 38 to camp golf, H&H tools, and other locations. For this mod I'd suggest west side, good springs, the mojave outpost, and similar quest hubs.

6) Let us expand. We have access to slater's mansion and the cherry orchard, both accessible by the metro. There is no good reason we wouldn't want to take over both and put them into production mode. We could hire permanent stars/starlets for the mansion and more professionals for the orchard. Corporate buyout would be another fun option. Let us buy out Golden Globes and/or the atomic wrangler. Make it hard to do, obviously, but it's an idea.

7) a clean coat of paint, new floor coverings, a better bar setup, stripper poles, a more upscale stage, clean bathrooms, better beds, etc. are all ways to make the club look more refined. Give us the option to do that at any stage by monetary investment through the manager's terminal.

8) Services for the pros and customers. There are rooms that could be re-purposed for this functionality. I'm thinking a clinic, detox/psychiatric facility (Yes, I'm nuts and really want to fix fiona's issue, sue me), Bartenders, Bouncers, or even a research lab. Some of it could be inside lollipopz, but others might need to be upgrades for Pahrump, the slater mansion, or housed within the subway system. For the less karma conscious, there are also drug labs, bootlegging facilities, arms dealing, gambling, weapon R&D and the like.

9) Faction specific goodies like the option to act as a base of operations for the faction of your choice. Once the subway is fixed, it would allow rapid troop movement throughout the mojave.

Overall a fantastic mod, but I would love to see it be more. Also loved Quo Vagis by the way.

1. I agree that we need more male models but I doubt that we'll see any content in Coito Ergo Sum for Legion players. Legion doesn't get a lot of love.

2. It's worth noticing that there is a lack of female characters in the New Vegas DLCs compared to the Fallout 3 DLCs. Besides I can't imagine players being able to ask a recently widowed Waking Cloud or a physically scarred Christina Royce to pose for the magazine.

3. While I would like to see an option to provide Fresca with an alternative female body I don't think that players should be forced to use other mods that they may have no interest in using to get this. Tying it in to Old World Blues should be more than enough.

4. I like the idea of doing something with the virtual technology but the only problem with tying it in to Dead Money is that players may have already finished that DLC and there is no way to return afterwards. Besides most of the tech at the Sierra Madre was developed at Big MT which means it can be tied into Old World Blues instead.

5. What's the point of repairing the Mojave train system in this mod? That's more of an idea for another mod altogether. The Lolipopz train system is underground and not even connected to the Mojave train lines.

6. I would like to see more life in the Slater Mansion but I'm not so sure about the Cherry Orchard. While I would like to see something done with the Cherry Orchard I just can't see it making any money as a brothel again considering Pahrump's lack of an economy. Unless they started trading favors or potatoes for sex.

7. It's a game based in an apocalyptic world. I think you're expecting a bit much here.

8 .Why would there be a need for a clinic or a research lab? Doc Mitchell is nearby in Goodsprings and there's also a doctor in Pahrump should the need arise. Lolipopz New Vegas isn't Lolipopz DC with an underground vault. It's an ordinary brothel thats connected to a private underground train network.

9. Considering the fact that Larry Slater is still alive and kicking I think he would object if the mansion (that he still owns) is used as a Legion base. Nothing to say that there isn't a bomb underneath the mansion that can be activated from Washington if Larry's home was occupied by such nefarious groups.

1) oh yes, yes yes yes. more male models is definitely a good idea. a couple of legion characters would be nice, maybe some ex-legion members would be more realistic though...

2) DLC-crossover material would be fantastic. A while back one user mentioned an idea about when the courier enters the Sierra Madre, they could find old rolls of film that could then be developed and used for the magazine. I'm sure there'd be members of the tribes in Honest Hearts that would pose, although that might be a more bad karma route as they probably wouldn't understand what they were doing.

3) I agree with Devilman and think this should be done through Old World Blues. While I use Project Nevada, others shouldn't be forced to. An upgradeable Fresca Coy follower
Spoiler
would be a pretty cool idea I think.

4) A holo-suite would be great. There could be "theme-disks" dotted about the wasteland (or at least locations added by CES) that have different themes for the suite, like Fallout 3 had for Tenpenny Tower and Megaton player homes.

5) It seems a bit off-subject for a mod revolving around the porn-industry to branch out onto giving jobs to the needy and repairing the railroad. With Run The Lucky 38, the tunnels made sense. However, what could be cool is maybe using the tunnels as a link to another Lolipopz location to run or maybe to the Sierra Madre, so players could return and then do whatever DLC-crossover activity is made for Dead Money.

6) I very much (since i've stated it before) want to renovate Slater Mansion; give it a do-over and throw some missions in there (the return of Larry Slater pls) I like the idea of starting up Cherry Orchard, although it'd need to be named Lolipopz (or maybe Cherry Lolipopz) to keep with the brand. Pahrump might not have much of an economy, but provide a method of getting to Pahrump (via bullet train or clearing a road) and I could see the town expanding into something more vibrant and active in the future.

7) Agreed here. Devilman, just because it's set 200 years after the apocolypse, doesn't mean it can't look good. What about the Ultra-Luxe? Sure, Vegas might not have been hit by the bombs, but the casinos where gonna be shitholes before House moved the families in. Some upgrades in the future aren't too hard to imagine. Michaelangelo makes gigantic neon billboards; some paint and carpet ain't gonna be a hard stretch to make or find in the wasteland.

8) A clinic would be pointless, same with a research lab. A bouncer or two could be a good idea and I think we can get a new bartender now to replace Hilly (I haven't played the recent updates because I'm waiting for 2.0 where I'm gonna start a new character) But the other things are too much I'd say. It's a strip-club and brothel, there's no need for them to make drugs or sell guns.

9) That just sounds completely pointless. Sorry, but it wouldn't make sense at all.

The point of 5 to me isn't to "give jobs", it's to increase revenue and traffic. Lollipopz is way off the beaten path, days upon days away from any major settlement on foot. A bullet train that connects to one or more major settlement decreases that time dramatically, thus increasing access and drawing in business. The point of it being fodder for a separate mod is, however, taken.

My thinking behind point 8 is very simple really. Historically, when a brothel or large scale sex for money operation of any kind was initiated, there were doctors to care for the hookers. Lollipopz is more than large enough to have one given the traffic it is supposed to have as well as the lia thing. I am not arguing that the clinic in pahrump is bad, but without the bullet train it is supposed to take hours to get from one to another. How exactly does that qualify as close? Good springs is the same exact deal. It isn't close, not by a long shot. Also, your character is an entrepreneur or at least supposed to be. Every toothless hick in the mojave has some kind of still or drug making devices lying around. So... Money? That's a good enough reason to me. As for R&D, why not? Quo Vagis had Duke in a vault lab that was only a bit bigger than the print shop. Why not have him back or someone similarly interested in developing something. Basically, I want more of Quo Vagis in Coito Ergo Sum.

I don't think 9 is pointless by any means. Entire battles have been fought over transit hubs and the ability to move supplies and materials from place to place. In game, there are entire plot lines revolving around shipment through the mojave. Granted, the base idea is a bit far fetched, but things like allowing Van Graff, Gun Runners, The Khans, or Crimson Caravans use your tunnels and rail line to move stock isn't.

@ ShadOstryk

In regards to point 8 it's important to remember that Lolipopz New Vegas does not have the additional space (or an underground vault) for a clinic or a lab. The "Lia thing" was just letting her have the use of the VIP room for the remaining duration of her pregnancy with Arcade on call. I don't know what map you're looking at but Lolipopz IS very close to Goodsprings. The argument regarding the bullet train and Pahrump seems pretty weak to me as long you use it to travel between Lolipopz and Pahrump every time.

The idea of a vault in Quo Vagis was good for that mod but repeating it in New Vegas would have been cheap and have messed with the mod's lore. Why would Larry go through all the trouble to get Vault L built if he already had a vault in New Vegas?

As for selling guns and drugs it should be noted that you can already do that. Just go to any merchant in the game and sell him/her all the guns and drugs you can carry.

As for point 9, I'm sorry but it is pretty pointless since the train tunnel only connects to locations like Pahrump and Slater Mansion that are isolated from the rest of the wasteland.

@ Mule35

Regarding Pahrump in point 6, I would have to say that I like it just fine the way it is and I wouldn't want to see the NCR or Legion get their grubby hands on the place.

1) Definitely more male models (and more female models) coming in future updates. Powder Gangers yes (if your rep with them allows it) but probably no Legion. There is a character in v2.0 who will explain why publishing an adult magazine doesn't incur the Legion's wrath if the Courier sides with them, but it's a psy-ops thing approved by the intelligentsia and they wouldn't trust the rank and file to understand it or let them risk being tainted by the profligates.

2) The Lone Wanderer could attempt to manipulate Dr. Li into posing for the magazine by invoking the memory of his/her recently deceased father. Sweet talking Waking Cloud & Christine can't be any more offensive than that ;)

3) An epilogue quest to further explore the Fresca/Handy dilemma in in the works, and will be released sometime after v2.0 (which will include the long-awaited holovid quest, and the ability to escort Fresca around the Mojave to help her assimilate into the 23rd century if you picked that ending).

4) Interesting idea. I'll add that to the list of possible expansions.

5, 6 & 7) I have a whole list of ideas & suggestions under the general heading of "expand the business", and I'll add the ones that weren't already on it. I've been meaning to add a stripper pole since v1.0 but there just always seems to be something more important to do. There have been numerous requests for a upgrade options and/or side quests to spruce up the saloon; it's never going to look like a pristine 21st century building but I agree some paint and Abraxo could go a long way. You can already set up the video equipment in either studio, and you will eventually be able to shoot in either one (may or may not be in v2.0, depending on how long it takes to get the basic quest functionality debugged). The residents of Pahrump believe their peaceful lifestyle is possible because the terrain makes it impractical for outsiders to exploit their resources on a large scale; they would therefore not look favorably upon having regular train service restored (and without that, reopening the Cherry Orchard wouldn't be profitable). Another thing I've thought about since v1.0 is a possible side quest to reopen the tunnel east to the Vegas terminus. Expensive and possibly dangerous (Hilly. Dynamite. Yeah.) but it could increase business in the brothel dramatically. The main problem with opening it west is that Pahrump took months to build and California is just a bit bigger than that :)

8 & 9) It would be interesting to have more options for bartenders & bouncers with different pros & cons; I added that to the list. I thought about having a staff physician early on in the design, but I tend to get a bit carried away with features and I was worried that I would end up spending a month writing a gigantic "STD Tycoon" simulator, so I ditched it. And there are enough great ideas directly related to expansion & competition within the adult entertainment field to keep me busy for the foreseeable future, so Lolipopz probably won't be branching out into other lines of business or getting directly involved with geopolitical issues.
