The only thing that currently changes due to game events is whether or not a model can be recruited (and in some cases, the difficulty of the challenge). However, you raise an interesting point. Sales of an artist's work often see a temporary spike right after they die. On the other hand, I don't want to give players an incentive to do a photo shoot and then literally shoot the model just to increase sales.

Just wanted to throw in a suggestion for the update. If we are able to restore communications with the Lolipopz DC branch in the future update then I think that it could be possible to receive digital downloads of the DC Lolipopz issues (consisting of npcs who are considered to be the cover girls in Quo Vagis) which can be sold to the vendors later on. I'm sure Larry would also be happy to receive copies of the New Vegas issues that he can sell in the Capitol Wasteland.
Another suggestion I've got is for Larry to make an appearance in the flesh. I'm going with the idea that the Lone Wanderer was able to get hold of a vertibird from the Enclave/Brotherhood war for Larry if he ever needed to check in with other Lolipopz branches that may still exist in America.

i said earlier that a larry appearance would be great, and using a vertibird would be a great way to do it! maybe in the future, we could get a chance to fix a satellite dish or something on the roof, to set a connection to an old terminal. maybe hilly wants to start, like, a website for lolipopz to either get more advertising or to start a pay-per-view service or the like. then, something could go wrong and instead of making a website, the player could connect to some sort of lolipopz network that all the lolipopz branchs are, or were, connected to.
from there, the player could talk to malibu or larry, which triggers larry's trip to the mojave, via vertibird.

By strange coincidence, there is a satellite dish and several solar panels on the roof of the Slater Mansion, a terminal and other currently non-functional electronics in the mansion's computer room, and a number of fuses with no apparent use in the Pahrump maintenance shed...

Currently, the quest starts in a metagaming manner. The player knows Lolipopz is there because we installed the mod. But in-game, the courier has no way of knowing that there's anything at all over that hill, let alone what it might be.
My thought was one of two things: Either a sign down by the main road basically saying "This way to Lolipopz", or a couple free start up posters already in Goodsprings. Or maybe a Help Wanted note in the Prospector a la New Vegas Bounties.

Yeah, I realized early on that unlike the bar in Canterbury Commons, the new location wasn't a place players might just stumble across. I specifically wanted to avoid the "mysterious radio message" cliche, and had a couple of vague ideas for a "hook", but then I got distracted by other things and never implemented one. The leading candidate at the time was a "random" encounter (totally scripted, of course) with a disgruntled customer or ex-employee, who would say something like "I'm through with that run-down rathole" (and maybe give the player a flyer or something), which would give a map marker and start the quest. Given that the #2 most frequently asked question (after "where's the toady" ) is "how do I start the quest", maybe that's still worth doing.
