For the heigh problem you can try to rename "RaceMenuPlugin.esp" in your data folder, it worked for me ;)

Hmm... after activating the mod the game won't start anymore. Maybe the solution is pretty easy and I'm just too dumb.

In response to post #16273700.

Not sure how this will break my game later but I backed up the esp just in case and renamed it slightly and it worked. But it looks like the race menu plugin is what's causing the kids to shrink

You have the latest version of non-essential children?

Also, while playing as a child you are unable to perform some actions like using the bed (which is needed if you use Alternative Start like I do) or the stones (ie warrior's stone) across skyrim.

Hey, Ranaline.
First of all, this is, hands down, one of the best graphic MODs I've seen seen here! great job! :D

I have one issue, though: No matter with kind of armor or clothes I put on my character, he always appears naked. I'm pretty sure all the armor effects work and all, but they're all invisible, (also, I'm pretty sure some haircuts don't work either) which is weird because the NPC children appear normal, fully clothed and everything. I thought it could be some other mod conflicting with it, but I tried disabling every single mod before running RSChildren, then I tried disabling the expansions, then tried to run Skyrim on a new, clean installation... Nothing worked. Any ideas?

In response to post #16288035.

Thanks so much! I am glad it's working for you. Currently this mod only supports wearing children's outfits. You can find the list of them by bringing up the console (tilde ` key), then typing in help "Child's Clothes", with the quotes. That should give you a complete list of what's currently compatible, then you can just type in "player.additem <<the item ID>>" :) Additionally for shoes, type in help "Child's Shoes". So far there are a few duplicate shoes, I'll add an update when I convert some others.

About the hairstyles, by default I only included three. If you see four bald hairstyles, that should be correct -- because many hair mods like Apachii Hairstyles and SG Hair Pack only show up for adult human races, not children. I decided it'd be generally cleaner if I didn't allow the children to use adult hairstyles.. so you'll have to put your desired hairstyles in manually (if you choose). For information on that, you can see the mod description under "what to know about editing children!"
