Description
===========
Dwemer Technology Part II, Dwemer Skyship is a player home plugin for TES IV, Oblivion. It allows the player to control and own the Dwemer Skyship, the last one of the glorious Dwemer sky-fleet. Upgraded, bugfixed, flyable.

Location
========
Abandoned Cave near the Cyrodiil-Morrowind border.

Details
=======

Features:
- 50+ completely new and custom-made meshes and several new textures
- A Small quest that might even lead you to ancient Dwemer locations
- Allows you to battle Dwemer centurions ;-)
- A "Fire Support spell", that makes the skyship attack everything in the player's vicinity
- A Dwemer Parachute to jump down safely from great heights (new in 1.1, thanks to QQuix)
- Voice acting (new in 1.1 thanks to the Cyrodiil Upgrade Team), upgraded in 2.0
- Passenger Deck and follower support (new in 2.0)
- A remote control for the skyship (new in 2.0)

Important
=========

Retrieve any ingredients from the ingredient sorter before upgrading!

Install
=======
1. Extract the files to a temporary location.
2. Examine the folder structure and make corrections where necessary.
3. Copy files to (install folder)OblivionData
4. Start Oblivion Launcher, click 'Data Files', place a checkmark beside the Dwemer_Skyship_1_1_0.esp file(s).

Uninstall
=========
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, click Data Files, uncheck the Dwemer_Skyship_1_1_0.esp file(s).
2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod.

To see what files are associated with this mod, look into the archive.

Incompatibility
===============

Probably with any mod that changes the Abandoned Cave, possible Chargen mod conflicts (since the quest starts like the official DLCs made by Bethesda, at the end of the Chargen quest).

Known Issues or Bugs
====================

- Sometimes the player can fall down from the skyship after getting up from the chair. I've done everything I could to avoid this since it can cause severe damage.
- I could not get rid of the annoying Sleep/Wait menu which pops up after activating second time (and so on) the wheel. By the way it has absolutely no meaning and yet it is still lurking there. :(
- If you get the "Can't turn anymore in that direction" or "Airship stopped" messages but it looks like the ship could move further in that direction try diving/climbing a bit. This should help.
- I could not get rid of the green magic effect after sitting down in the chair to control the ship. I know what causes it, how to (?) disable it, but it simply won't go away.
- I had to change the appearence and the race of the dwemer immortal because unfortunately I broke the quest when I was working on the lip files. I tried every other option and this was the only one which is acceptable. I worked on this mod for many nights and I don't want to start from the beginning.
- I had to remove the repair functionality from the dwemer immortal. :( But he can follow and help you in combat. :)
- It is not advisable to call the ship to the starting location.

Changes from previous versions
==============================

03.07.2010.
- Fixed 4 activators which should have been static objects
- Added a periscope to the bridge
- Combined with Zolo 2006's "Dwemer Skyship Flying" plugin, bugfixed, optimized scripts (as far as I could done it) so the player can really fly the skyship
- Minor improvements to the tapestries using Franc Kaos' "Paintings and Tapestries" mod
- Ingredients sorter changed to COBL's (mesh came from there anyway) You should recover all ingredients from those cupboards before upgrading to prevent item loss!
- Cannon deck upgraded :)
- Recorded missing audio file, added missing .lip files to the quest giver NPC (I almost had to reinstall Oblivion after that)
- Followers can be transported to and from the skyship using the appropriate spells, added a Passenger Deck
- Changed the Skyship Ring to Skyship Remote, added more functionality

Licensing/Legal

You can do whatever you want with this mod but all I ask in return is that
you give me credit if you distribute any part of this mod.

Ps.
===

It was funny to see that Zolo2006 finally fixed his mod after 4 months and uploaded just the same day I finished my mod. :)

You might want to paste your own readme in the Description section, rather then a direct cut and paste from mr_siika page as it doesn't look very reputable.

Likewise, being clear on if you had permissions from the authors (centurion, mr_siika and zolo2006) would be a good idea.

This mod looks great! I look forward to a working version.
Sadly, this one crashes my game to the desktop even with obse on board and launching from it after checking the mod in the Data dialogue.

EDIT: Oops! I forgot to instal COBL ... will report back.

What's COBL? It crashes to the desktop so I think that I need this COBL that Berzdex spoke of. This didn't happen to the old version ;(

Never mind found COBL on Planetelderscrolls.

Works fine. Except that the immortal is invisible for me and I cant fly the ship. When I use either the wheel or the chair nothing happens.

Ahh, that's too bad it uses COBL. Guess I won't be able to use it. Looks like a nice update to the mod, but I'm with nipwip and iceflame542. It sorta looks like you're trying to take credit for the whole thing.
