feletan Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 (edited) hello, So i just bought skyrim legendary edition from steam, After a weeks worth of going threw lots of mods that i enjoy, getting them all to work without crashing the game or any other issues, i finally got on the game and started playing however.. i started to realize every time i swing my weapon or draw my bow, the attack speed is insanely high. its almost 1.5x the speed it should be if not more, on top of that i got another mod that is effecting my combat, when i draw a weapon, i get really slow, as if i'm holding down the shift key, when i put a weapon away the speed increases almost to normal jogging speed, however i got to hit the sprint key for a second to just get my character running at its normal speed. does anybody know any possible mod names that could in the slightest do anything above, I know its a long shot and its confusing to understand, i also understand its a pain in the ass to ask such a thing but here is my mod list, just in case anyone can just glance over it and see if anything pops out at them. any information will help. whiteaden Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 Dance of Death might be the one frustrating you, or it is one of the combat enhancing mods, I haven't used many combat altering mods, I only use T3Nd0's Skyrim Redone which alters perks and combat.I am not sure what the run sprint jump mod does, if it speeds up animations it's possible that that also speeds up fighting animations unintentionally?I think some of your perk enhancing mods might conflict with eachother as well as SkyRE... but I haven't checked their compatibility lists. it could be a combination of any of the above mentioned things... I'd check the mod pages of the combat related mods, to see if there are any incompatibilities found there as a starting point. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
fore Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 You don't say what FNIS patches you uses. One possible reason for high attack speed and multiple hits are some custom combat animations when used in a female or male folder and activated with the FNIS GENDER or PCEA patch. One example where I know can cause these issues is the "Female Animation Pack". Some of their combat animations are shorter than vanilla, and the behavior files send events when the corresponding (custom) animation files are already done. And together with the FNIS GENDER or PCEA re-pathing this can have those effects. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
feletan Posted July 5, 2014 Author Share Posted July 5, 2014 All my patches are turned off, as well as all my animation mods are also deactivated and i'm still having the fast attack speed issue, as for the strange movement speeds it turns out it was one of my immersion mods. fore Posted July 5, 2014 Share Posted July 5, 2014 But what you can't deactivate are animation replacers. Try renaming the "animations" folder for a test. Your animation mods will cause the t-pose, but that doesn't effect the combat. Then see if you still get the fast attack speed. Or do you use Ultimate combat? feletan Posted July 5, 2014 Author Share Posted July 5, 2014 Not really to sure what happen to be honest but i uninstalled everything and re installed it all 5 mods at a time and testing them in game before moving on, Of course its taken all day but for some reason it seems to have fixed it as well as the movement issue. what happen and why i have no clue, Thanks for the help.
