Spent hours trying to get the Heavy Armor Replacer - Updated, base files to work and and/or work with the Ceremonial Chain found here: http://dragonage.nex...s.com/mods/1009 Whether I deleted the b-e files or had all of them available the mod did not work. Not sure how other people got this mod to work. To see if there was a conflict with other texture mod files I even removed my entire override file leaving only the a-e files + .mao files + .msh left. No matter the combination of "a" only or "a-e" enither worked. "a" with the .msh and .mao files produced a warped textured likeness of what is present in the screenshots, and the a-e combination + the .msh and .mao files produced a pink chainmail/binki (depending on use of .mao files) with still base textures of the standard Heavy Chainmail present. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this mod to work? It would be nice if there were some basic instructions, there was no .txt file included with any of the mods I downloaded, and instructions on the site are limited at best. I followed them to a T and tweaked and experimented when that didn't work. I have been modding DA:O via regular cut/paste and modder clients for a while now. What I'm missing in the equation is beyond me. Please help?

ive looked through all the comments but looks to me that the question i have isnt answered. is the warden commander armor set in game affected by this mod? or do i have to install the naughty warden to get it to work. i havent tried installing it yet because i have had such a hassle just getting this mod to work in the first place. also just for clarification, if i install one of the massive armor retexture packs does it affect all armors universally or just armors with that material?

Unless someone is willing to clean up this mess, the pictures are pretty but the hassle of getting it to work is not. Thumbs down.

My suggestion to anyone struggling with getting this going is to use the "replacer_updated" of the armor set that you want, then dump the .dds files from the "tiered textures" of that armor type into that same folder and overwrite when prompted.

Also, down a 6-pack or 2 to dull the headache from staring at those readmes. Worked for me.

I was in the process of applying this mod when I read the ReadMe... A word of advice to anyone who doesn't have any alcohol or drugs in the house to deal with this... It's not worth it. Explain CLEARLY what I need to do with these files next time, woulda liked to get this working but I happily decline spending any more time on this ridiculously complicated way of applying a mod.
