I'm trying to complete the first blades mission but the puzzle box is missing. Is it a bug? is there a way around it? Thanks.

First of all, make absolute sure that you have the right area of where it should be.

If its not there, add it on using the TESCS

I bought it used. I don't have the TEC. I what told I could add it if I had the item's full name. I played my friends x box version so I know its the right room.

I DLed tespcd and found the item name. Thank s for the help.

If the puzzle box is missing, you can do one of three things:

1) Go back into the dwemer ruin and follow the screenshots at this site to make sure you looked in the right place:

2) Cheat to get one by typing the following in the console:
(you may have to hit "escape," then "`" to bring up console and avoid hitting any hot keys while you type)
placeatpc,"misc_dwrv_ark_cube00",1,1,1
The puzzle box will appear at your feet.

3) There is a plugin that places an additional puzzle box in the game, but I cant remember or find it right now, still compiling.

Found the link to add the second puzzle box to Ald Ruhn:
