Sorry about this going off topic but I can't edit the name now, how do I make a power only usable once a day like in vanilla skyrim? Veltoss Posted July 22, 2014 Share Posted July 22, 2014 What spell is this effect used with in vanilla Skyrim? There are a few you might be referring to, like the spray used for Frostbite, or the wall used by a barrier spell, and a couple others. You can find these under Special Effect -> Projectile, filter with "frost". A good place to start with creating a power that is similar to what already exists is to duplicate and modify an existing one. You can find Powers by going under Magic and then Spell, filter by "power". Just modify the ID, the ingame name, and the effect. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
IceDolphin Posted July 22, 2014 Author Share Posted July 22, 2014 All i'm doing is merging a bunch of different magical effects, but honestly I can't tell you what item has this effect, I remember seeing it, just not where. Veltoss Posted July 22, 2014 Share Posted July 22, 2014 If it looked like a cone of frosty air, it's probably one of the Spray effects. If it was more like a sitting area of frosty air, it's probably one of the Wall ones. What you could do is check the ones in the CK, right click, click Use Info, and see what spells they're used in. Then check those spells either ingame, or find a picture of them online (some wikis might have screenshots of the spells in use) and figure out which effect you're looking for.
