"It was a Thu'um called Thunder Shield actually," Alexandra commented as she sat on a bar stool and pulled a flask out of her bag. "I was tipped of that something that might kill most of the people in the room was about to happen by the fact that the roar that you expelled was in Dovah, I thought it best to shield all non-hostiles from whatever you were concocting." As for Litheria, She is the guardian of my clan and sent me to you I think because I was being tracked, She is extremely powerful, being a spirit of nature itself, and no one can hide from her, if she wants to find you she will." She takes a drink from her flask and smoke starts to slowly curl from her ears. "Ah, that's good Fire Whiskey," she says now relaxed enough to look around the place she has found herself in. She notes that the others in the room presently are another Vaalsark at the other end of the room, a blue ball of light that could be a Hooloovoo, Mathis, an intriguing looking high elf in robes and with what looks to be the same runes glowing on her skin, and a very tall Breton that looked like his aura was on fire. As She looks around she notes also that the place could look a lot nicer. She speaks to the room at large, "If no one objects I would like to see if I can change this place into a slightly less destructible place, I have a house in mind but I want to make sure it is ok if I change it."
((Note the small descriptions of the beings in the room are her interpretation and as she only knows Matias's name because it was told to her by Litheria she does not know anyone else's name.))

"Why would my appearance be interesting to you?" Alexandra asks defensively in the lull that her question leaves, directing her attention to the Berton. "You aren't after our secrets too are you, those thalmor freaks that were tracking me were part of the group that destroyed my home and ended the lives of my people, If you want our secrets that badly take it up with them,"

( Blinks rapidly at the sudden accusation ) Did I say that out loud? Dumb question, of course I did, otherwise you wouldn't be riled up. The appearance of any newcomer is interesting to me, I have a lot of curiosity. I don't have any interest in communicating with Thalmor, they're all a bunch of stuck up pigs that are better left burning in agony or outright destroying. As for secrets, I've just met you and don't have any previous conflict with your race, if I wanted to know secrets that badly I'd make an offer. I won't anytime soon though, if ever, I consider it rude to barter for secrets upon just meeting someone. That goes double the usual rule, seeing as to how you've just suffered at the hands of the Thalmor to protect your secrets.

( Sudden facepalm ) Where are my manners. I don't like sharing my real name, but Star seems to have become the common way to address me, so you can go with that. ( Tilts head sideways ) Thanks for the barrier by the way, you saved me from getting blasted clean through the nearest wall. I'm resistant to fire, being mostly fire myself, but Mathias' Thu'um would have done a number on me. He's stronger by far than the average mage or warrior. ( Leans back, scratching head ) You also saved Zrika over there from almost certain death, she has a habit of spacing out. ( Splits into two flames, which materialize into two identical mages wearing dragonbone armor ) You'll get used to this if you hang around me often, I do it on a regular basis. It's time I did something about the structural integrity of this room ( One body sits down sipping cider, while the other slowly transforms the floor into a white, hard material ) That's a substance known as cuendillar, also known as Heartstone in its universe. It likely has little in common with the Heart Stones you may have seen on Solstheim, this cuendillar is a substance that cannot be destroyed by any means other than the most outlandish and extraordinary, as any force that tries to break it normally makes it stronger. I'll be doing the walls and ceiling next. Hmm, house, good idea. I'll make sure the sections are done separately so they can be rearranged and decorated.

Well, so much for first impressions, I blew that out of the water like Sheogorath raining cheese on a diplomat. Perhaps a second impression will go better. ( The body at the bar smiles, sipping at the cider. ) Let's get off to a good start, my apologies for thinking out loud and making you worry for your safety and the safety of your secrets.

She nods as the others are indicated to her and replies to Star, "I'm sorry about that I tend to get defensive easily," She notes the change in the floor and suddenly the whole room changes, the walls change color and style, the bar shrinks a little and the whole area at large expands. "There are crafting facilities in the basement and sleeping areas upstairs," she announces as the room finishes morphing, "I wasn't using this house anyway, it was to close to the thalmor embassy for my liking, you may call me Alex by the way, everyone else does." "Now if someone would please tell me the names of the Hooloovoo and the High elf I can stop referring to everyone by there descriptions."

( Looks up from a sip of cider ) The Hooloovoo is Eolhin, and the high elf is Veralath Astiri. I'd normally let them answer, but they seem to be a little disoriented from all that blinding light Mathias's Fire Breath created. The Vaalsark over there ( Looks at the spaced out female Vaalsark in the room ) is the Zrika I mentioned before. Whenever she spaces out, she generates a " someone' elses problem field " as Eolhin put it, diverting the attention of anyone in the room away from her. ( Looks around at the bar that has been changed into a house ) Like the changes you've done here Alex , I'll continue going about making the walls, ceiling, and floors all but indestructible. ( Sips at the cider, looking around at the details that have changed with interest as the second body continues changing the floor into Cuendillar ) Oh, my metabolism is orbital, It's why my cider is big enough to bathe in. ( Slight grimace ) Bad brain, I don't need that imagery. Surpressing.

"It is good, Alexandra, in these dark times to be wary. It will keep you alive." Mathias said. "Normally, Star, I would have told you that Names have power, and to give a Name is to give one control over you. The Dov, the dragons, they understand this perhaps better than we ever can, as they give their True Names to any who ask."

He settled into a new seat, watching the progress of the floor's transformation into something of which he likely wouldn't be able to damage. "Star, I'd make sure whatever you're building the floors and walls out of absorbs damage-causing objects. I don't want to torch everyone with a reflected spell or Thu'um." Mathias grinned, then opened the door, pulling his satchel from his hip, and removing several Dwemer Animunculi, stationing them as guards at the door.

"That should fix our little security problem. Don't mind the satchel, it's Sheogorath's bag of holding. It's a nightmare finding anything normally, but it'll hold anything. Including two Centurions and six Sphere Masters. Don't worry, they're set to not attack unless attacked first. Or unless they spot someone wearing Thalmor robes." Mathias settled into a chair, then flicked a magma ball into the fireplace, providing a large amount of light and heat for the room. He pulled a flask from his hip and took a very small drink, before capping it up and placing it back where he'd gotten it from.

"I'd normally offer to share, but, well, Star's already experienced it once. I'm sure he'd have no problems explaining why you don't want any Dwemer mead."

"Thank you for the offer Mathis, but I have my Fire Whiskey if i am in need of refreshment," She grabs her flask and tries to drink only to find that it is empty," "Ok, who stole my drink ..." She looks over at Star and cringes as she sees smoke starting to pour out his ears. "Sorry, I didn't realize that someone had dumped it into the last of you drink," she cries in distress, thankfully the symptoms only last for a few seconds and he is back to normal.

( Goes cross-eyed as smoke pours out of ears ) That tickles, and not in a good way. Three guesses as to who did that. ( Sticks out tongue in Mathias's direction. ) And if it wasn't you, we have another prankster in the room. ( Lets out a slight cough ) Good thing that wasn't enough to get me drunk, it never ends well when I pass my limit on liquor. After the last debacle, the one fortunate side effect was an increased resistance to ordinary hard drink. ( Reaches into a portal to a pocket dimension, pulling out a bottle of Fire Whiskey before closing it. ) I don't often drink, but keeping a decent supply of drink is always a good idea for company and profit. ( Sets the Fire Whiskey down on top of the bar ) There you go. ( Waves the other hand, causing the giant and now empty pitcher to fly into a second pocket dimension portal, which closes after the pitcher enters it )

( Looks over at Mathias ) Cuendillar won't reflect anything, and this variant has my personal addition of absorbing harmful magic and energy as opposed to letting blasts splatter. Only harmful energy with hostile intent, wouldn't want anyone to get drained by being here. The energy also has to make direct physical contact to be absorbed, having it absorb all hostile energy from a distance would be idiotic. As for names, funny story actually. I'm not worried about anyone using my name to gain power over me, but speaking it out loud would draw some of my older enemies to me like moths to a flame. Tracking a spoken real name is my issue. And I wouldn't want a pile of annoyances to show up at the door. Which reminds me, that door needs to be replaced. ( The second body finishes with the floor and starts on the back wall ) I'll get to it after we can agree on what the new door will look like. Might be a bad idea to make a Cuendillar door, breakable doors make more sense in case of the need for escape. ( Sneezes, clapping hand over face to block and absorb a stream of fire ) Dang, that whisky that got dumped in my cider still tickles like crazy.

(( one quick question before I get into character, how do I put those emotes in my post?))

Alex's eyes widen as the drink is placed in the bar, then turns to Mathis who has finished eating. "I was supposed to tell you something else but I got distracted, May I see the manuscript again please?" when Mathis hands it to her she opens it, apparently at random and hands it back. "I don't know why but Litheria told me you will find this passage most interesting, anyway I hope the others return to themselves soon as right now they look frozen." She notices that Eolhin had vanished and assumes she had gone off to look for energy.
