Judging by the screenshots so far, so far everything is looking good. But if what Povuholo says is true, then I might wait for a later release or pick and choose what I want from the list and run them seperately. Plus I don't know any Italian lol.

STILL can't find my copy of Morrowind. Did find Starcraft and SWAT 3 Gold though.

You can pick and choose, there are separate ESPs. I was worried they would merge the lot into one. Updating shouldn't be an issue for the same reason. That said Povuholo is right, it would be better to download just what you want rather than wasting time downloading everything.

!!!!!!!!!! Betrayed!!! And all while I was typing another post!!!!!!

BTW's, Good luck majic_12.

Povuhulu:

Do you have to be such a spoilsport?

1. I already said I don't know if the permission was asked of the modders - but once again - THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN ASSUME IT WASN'T!

It just seems unlikely, since it is such a large number of modders.

2. This mod pack (for the graphics) is still in beta; and there is a reason why the mod pack for the gameplay hasn't been realeased yet. In fact, if you go to the site, KING_PIX says that he is about 60/70% (I don't remember exactly) done with the mod testing for that part. And before you ask, he isn't the only one testing his mod packs. Who are the other's? Well, sphynxette and jim_uk for example :teehee: . There is a reason why this mod pack is still considered to be in BETA!!!

3. I'm sure that your mod list is very nice; but we've been over this on the bottom of page 2 :pinch: . As far as I can gather, it took jim_uk about one or two hours to get this working (don't mention MGE problems, these problems have already been mentioned in the italian forum, and I am sure it will be much easier in the final version). How long would it take to go through your list, and make sure everythings stable? Well, much longer, lol  .

Alright, I'll stop assuming things and we'll see how it turns out. I'd like to be proven wrong actually.

4. Not practical?!?!?!? :nuke:
Ummmm... is it just my imagination, or did jim_uk and sphynxette get it working really easily (and it's not even out of BETA yet). I'm not sure, was that what you were trying to say?

It's the gameplay part that I'm more concerned about. I'm wondering how the makers of the compilation will deal with mods from the compilation that are updated after the compilation is posted.

Back to the mod!!! :woot:
There has to be a way to get the shader's working (I think) because the shaders were activated in the Morrowind Overhaul Video on youtube.

If you open MGEGui.exe, go to the tools tab, click 'shader editor' and then 'edit active chain' you can see the current active shaders and add new ones from the full list. Also for most shaders the options under 'shaders' on the misc tab of MGE need to be ticked, aside from Hook texture loads. The 'hardware shader' box on the render state tab needs to be checked too. Which version of MGE does it say it is by the way?

Don't worry about the gameplay ones yet, we'll get there when we get there.

This graphical part is a BEAST in itself. :woot:

About the shaders, thanks for your advice, but I don't even have Morrowind. Let's hope sphynxette and jim_uk (grrrrrrr) can figure it out.

The only problem I had was Firefox crashing with 10 seconds of the download remaining, the mod was simplicity itself to install. Backed up My Morrowind folder on another drive, installed in the normal way, ran the Morrowind code patch and checked the mods off in the launcher. I left the animated grass out as I already had that installed. The shaders are working fine here, I removed the depth of field because I don't like that effect in any game. The sun shafts look great on the rare occasions the sun shines. The sounds are very good too and add to the atmosphere, that said I'm sure I can hear monkeys which is a little unsettling. I'm about 4 hours in and have not come across any bugs or had any crashes. I did have to adjust the Mipmap settings in MGE, set too high textures at a certain distance look a little odd, setting them to high quality in CCC works a lot better.

ooo shiny...

If the sun puts in an appearance I'll try to remember to record it, they seem to have opted for British weather.

By the way, was mlox and testool included?

If so, I'll update install instructions.

EDIT: Duhhh... it's on the mod list.

EDIT 2: Are the books in Italian or English?

EDIT 3: The just fix it is literaly just fix it right?

Yes mlox and Testool are there.
Not looked at the books, read them all years ago.

"- Open TesTool (Wyre Mash is better, but this is faster and for the graphics packet goes more than well) and make/do a Just Fix It This word has a lot of translations so I assume it just means use 'Just Fix It' whatever that is." - translated instructions.
