You can't use Console for the Steam version? Odd. Cuz I have the Steam version and can use Console commands just fine.
Either way. Good job
I know a lot of people have difficulty figuring out how to get all that done
Either way. Good job

Well if you have the standard version you can - you can't if you have the Ultimate edition

Well I had problems and searched the interwebs. What I found was (for me) some complicated nonsense and found an easier way to make it work.
If you had a version outside Steam it would just had been download "Make CONSOLE commands visible", put " -enabledeveloperconsole" the shortcut and change your keybinding.
- and I tried that with no luck.

Which is your key for opening the console? As standard, it's tilde key..
Go to: C:\Users\Mal\ Documents\BioWare\ Dragon Age\Settings
Open "Keybindings.ini" and find OpenConsole_0=Keyboard::Button_Tilde
- Now, change "tilde" to like F7 so it would look like: OpenConsole_0=Keyboard::Button_F7 - Don't change the other one.
After this, try replace the files once more:)

I appear to be stuck in a loop. It keeps going back to the Launcher instead of allowing me to play the game.
I stupidly overwrote the XML file without backing it up first. I get to uninstall and re-install everything now. YAY!!!!!

I have the Steam Ultimate Edition and have for over a year and have been using console commands just fine. HOWEVER, it did require a little tweaking to do it (and never would have found the instructions I needed w/o the help of a modder.) This mod just might make it easier for new users with the Ultimate edition to use Console commands. I'm sure this will be appreciated!
