The elf patch is up. Let me know if it works, because I haven't been able to test it, myself due to the mod structure.
Changing the requirements from strength to dexterity is a larger project than I thought (Not huge by any means!) and since it involves creating a new material type, it could prove to be a fun and distinguishable change. It does, however mean that it will take a bit longer to make.

This looks very very nice. Textures and all.
Have just downloaded it. Return with endorsement later.
Keep up the good work and thank you.

All right. Update on the Light Armor Dexterity requirement patch. Apparently changing the material doesn't do anything as far as -different- requirements go.
The best I can do with materials is change how much strength is required, which will in turn eliminate the problem. But it won't be a dex requirement.
There is a mod out there for that, but it has conflicts with other mods.
I think lowering the strength requirements to a reasonable level may be the better solution to that problem. It also comes with the benefit of having a special material type.

Updated to version 1.2
The new material and the Elf Patch are both included, rendering previous versions obsolete. Update is not necessary, but does provide a better experience.

hmm would it be possible to get a warrior version of this armor (personally prefer light armor for my warrior, just so damn hard to find one fitting stat wise), so something competitive with the normal warrior armors. (obviously for a damage dealer)
