Woohoo! Thank you very much, brucevayne, moving the mod to the last of the load order fixed it!

Doesn't seem to work with me. I used the Mod Manager to put it at the bottom, but when I click the checkbox next to it and press play, oblivion just closes.
Any ideas?

@ haloblivion
Do you have ScreenEffects installed and enabled? Cause it's required to run this mod (along with : SHIVERING ISLES PATCH v1.2.0416, Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE) v0018 beta 6, Pluggy v125, RefStuff, ALGOHOL v0.11)

Yeah, that was the problem. Got it working now. Just need to find where to get the spells. The magic leveling thing sounds complex. (Perhaps an optional file where you can just buy the spells and use them?)

It looks really cool. The spell effects are incredible. Unfortunately I decided to make a melee-based atronarch class. Every new spell completely bypasses spell absorbtion and frankly, it's game breaking.
Even without the atronarch birthsign it still seems that these spells do too much damage in the hands of NPCs -- especially considering you can't use line of sight to duck for cover when you see an overpowered missle barrage heading for you.
Getting this installed properly was also a challenge, between crashing on startup and all. I have a feeling that this file or one of the required plugins is causing my texture memory to bloat (leading to a 12fps drop) but I haven't pinpointed it yet.
EDIT: The CTDs were from using Pluggy v125 (which I did not have previous). I did a complete uninstall of it then reinstalled v132. My melee collision was glitchy after that, so I repeated the process. Problem solved.
EDIT: About the frames, I changed my texture packs close to the same time I installed Fearsome Magicka. I doubt the two are related.
In summary, this mod is staying disabled until I roll a caster. The spells do tons of damage, pierce spell absorption, and go THROUGH walls. Hopefully a new version later will better suit my tastes because this is an incredible mod.

There's just far too many dependencies that this mod requires. I understand OBSE and the SI patch; a lot of mods require them, but Screen Effects 1.0, Pluggy v125, RefStuff, ALGOHOL v0.11... I haven't even heard of two of those. This is not to mention two other recommended mods titled "Crash Prevention System" and "Stutter Remover". This is very disconcerting.
I could hardly wait to finally unzip this thing and play it, but since I read the readme, I just deleted it.
