crash after bethesda logo? check your mods, you are missing a parent plugin

random? get skyrim monitor to check RAM/Vram usage. -> SMME for RAM issue, ENBoost for VRam

certain place/action every time? most likely conflicting mods, have to have more info

I crash after the Besthesda logo, I see the Skyrim dragon logo for a split second and Skyrim just disappears.

I launch SKSE, then it connects to Steam, and I don't get much farther than that.

as mentioned above, you are missing one or more plugins, which are required by one or more you have active. check your active files and their masters/parents. And here again: please keep this to one thread, there is no need to open a 2nd with basicly the same content

what you posted is the monitor I mentioned above. Would be nice if you would edit your last post if you have something to add a few minutes later, instead of double/triple posting. helps to keep it clear. and please read the stuff I write carefully, I've already given you any further info regarding the reason behind your current crash in my post above.

I am missing Rebirth monster.esp, rebirth monster - sic patch.esp is what needs it, but I can't find the original on Nexus.

 

Everything else appears to have all it's masters listed in my plug in list.

 

I apologize about the other post, this is my one day off and I got a bit hasty hoping I could fix it quicker that way. It was overzealous of me, sorry.

Hrm... Very good point haha. You got me there. Do you happen to know if Rebirth Monster is a part of another known mod? I'm lost as to how the original esp is just... not there.

 

Also, the wording of how to install Enboost has me lost. SMME is downloaded, but maybe you could clarify the install directions for Enboost?

 

1) Download "ENBSeries 0.195" or NEWER version.
2) Unpack ENBSeries files from "WrapperVersion" folder to your Skyrim game
folder where TESV.exe file is. For some users "InjectorVersion" should be
used to fix compability issues with other software or for laptops with Optimus.
3) Select proper enblocal.ini to your hardware file from ENBoost archive folders
and extract it to game folder by replacing the same one from ENBSeries.
4) Run the game.

2) I'm wondering if wrapper version means zipped version. Also, I don't need injector version I gathered.

Ah yes, I know that feeling, I too had to go two steps back, asking "What?" even now I'm struggeling to reconstruct where I got which folder

First: what you need:

1.: The injector, somewhere not far from the mainpage of ENB. That's the program itself

2.: the enbseries_skyrim archive/folder. it contains the folders "Injector Version" (which we'll ignore) and WrapperVersion, which is the folder mentioned in the description.

3. ENBoost 5_0_xxxx, which contains three folders for three different videocard manufacturers.

 

not sure abot the last two, which I got where

 

Second: what you have to do:

1. unpack the injector in your skyrim directory

2. go to the archive/folder with the "WrapperVersion" and put it in your skyrim directory too.

3. go to the atchive with the different videocard manufactures, select the manufacturer of your card and then the amount of VRAM your card has. put that enblocal.ini to the rest of the enb stuff in your skyrim directory.

 

Note that those files do not belong in the data folder, they belong in the main directory where the TESV.exe is.
