Hey guys, I'm trying to kick skyrim and get back to playing games.. Skyrim has psychologically ruined others for me...

Here's some criteria:

First person: almost a must

Guns: I has all the testosterones

Horror: Mr lovecraft!

Story driven: no cheese.

It's age: Irrelevant, higher than 8bit.

I've just bought fear three, but looking at reviews.. hmm, maybe.

Do you guys have any ideas?

FEAR 3 is one of the worst games ever made, total garbage, just save your time and don't play it. I'd rather re-play FEAR1 and 2.

If you are in Skyrim and love everything about it, I'd rather play Fallout 3/New Vegas with some horror mods, since it's basiaclly retextured TES game and have little in common with original Fallout games aside from being in post-apocaliptic world.

As for the other games, maybe Condemned might suit you (but I think you have already played this game), some other games like Alone in The Dark (gamepad only) or Call of Ctulhu might satisfy you as well.

I cannot agree more with fear three, I didn't make it through the first level.. just terrible.

I haven't played condemned yet although you're not the first person to suggest it to me so it's going on the list. I've played The call of Cthulu, I was very satisfied with. I'll keep looking for more but maybe I'll take another stab at fallout three in the meantime, I've not played that modded before. Thanks for the response man.

I second Dead Space, great series. I also enjoyed Dishonored and Borderlands 2 GOTY (4 player co-op ITS MADNESS)

And one of the best fps games ever is System Shock 2. Its an action role-playing survival horror FPS with a GREAT story.

System Shock 2 is quite old and it takes some time to get used too but it worth in the end :).
