mrfatbard Posted July 29, 2014 Share Posted July 29, 2014 so I was thinking, if you own fallout nv and skyrim couldn't there be a mod or something that swaps some files around to let you play as your fallout nv character in skyrim and vice versa (whatever you spell)? (preferably without your guns looking like staffs or crossbows) in other words, I want to run and gun skyrim with some fallout weapons that actually function as guns instead of other s***. please :laugh: also some fallout armors would be cool too especially the metal and brotherhood of steel (black renegade whatever) armors would be so awesome! in fact now that I think about it... someone make a mod that lets you wear brotherhood of steel, metal, and tesla armors from fallout (or just port them) someone make a mod that adds a pistol, sniper rifle, assault rifle, and shotgun from fallout to skyrim much appreciated :cool: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A mod could possibly be created simply by creating a armour textured as fallout armour though I still don't believe it would be done. Since Skyrim and Fallout are flat out different games, you would probably not be able to have Skyrim grab info from a Fallout save to create your character so that would be out of the question. As for making texture/re-skin mods to make armours and such, I believe certain rules a copyright laws prevent this, atleast that's whats suggested on this thread. The last thing being guns from Fallout into Skyrim once again you may be out of luck seeing as there are only a few gun mods for Skyrim since they are difficult to work with in a game with no guns. These mods can be fun but nowhere close to perfect.TL;DR This probably won't happen due to the law and stuff ahaha. Try to have fun with "Power Armour" like this , this and guns mods like this since you probably won't get the Fallout stuff you want. Seriously though, rigging up animations is a lot of work, particularly for something that isn't one of the more popular mods. You can always find tutorials online and try your own hand at it.
