Guest Messenjah
So it seems that either I make enemies that attack everything in site or that don't attack at all unless I specify for them to do so. I was wondering if anyone has played around with the enemy AI much? I'm trying to figure out how to make a set of enemies more alert or less alert depending on how the player chooses to complete a quest. For example, if they choose to sneak in, the game will switch to nighttime, most of the enemies will be asleep and the others will follow a basic patrol route, but they should not immediately attack the player when they are within range This seems to happen with my bandit characters since they are set to aggressive. If the player just walks in, the enemies should be much more alert, since it would be in broad daylight and the player will get attacked on-site. Any tips to make things more interesting? Sixxness
Its probably hard to create a time routine to make enemies sleep throughout the night; plus some places may not have enough sleep zones, per amount of enemies in each location. If you want to improve the AI, these mods should work together. Try posting in the "Skyrim Mod Request" section, you'll probably receive more input there. (perhaps the closest, although this mod is no longer updated and contains some existing bugs)Improved Sneak Detection: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23353/?Better Stealth AI for Followers: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/16531/?Enemy AI OverHaul: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40491/? Sixxness
This is another related mod, more for sleep patterns. Sleep Tight: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50954/?"Hostile NPCs such as bandits, warlocks, etc. in interiors will switch their equipment to naked or "Keep Chest" and can now be found sleeping at night as opposed to having the same schedule 24/7." Guest Messenjah
Hmmm.... actually my location has a lot of sleep locations. I'm working on my own quest. I'm not really requesting another mod, but rather looking for input/suggestions for my own design.
