At the conclusion of the game my male dwarf PC was able to impregnate Morrigan, no problems and no questions asked about the differences in their race. So, does this mean that the humans and dwarves CAN make babies together, and consequently the God of Beauty is going to be reborn as a half-dwarf half-human?? Lol.

So, is it possible for a human and a dwarf to get together and make a half-dwarf? Are there any half-dwarves in Ferelden or other areas of Thedas?

Dunno about dwarves. Its proven tho that there are not any half-elves. Elves and humans breed more humans, regardless of which parent is which. Thats why most elves dont breed with humans. If they made it a standard practice, they'd breed their race out of existance.
ummm I see no reference to a halfing dwarf in that story bro. The only mention of a son is between Luthias and Morrighan'an....both of which were Awar tribal leaders. He married a dwarf, yes, but mention of a child between them isn't there.

Luthias Dwarfson is considered a half-dwarf in the story. He is shorter and more stoic person and is married to a dwarf. BioWare has not confirmed that half-dwarves exist, so it is up in the air.

K, I was under the impression from what the guy in ostagar says, that he was human. Ah well.
So, if it's half a halfer, does that make them a quarter?
halfer = half-pint. shadowrun slang for dwarf

The idea of a half-dwarf may still be up in the air, but I think that is more Bioware wondering just how far they can push the genetics boundary. That is a drekload of possibilities if you look at it on it's own. For instance if humans can mate with elves, and can mate with dwarves, then it would also go to theory that elves and dwarves could also mate and so on, it really is a frag lot of worms that could be dropped out of a can if they open it. (Had to add in even more shadowrun touches)
