I'm looking for a mod that will change the position of arrow quivers. I'm pretty certain it's been done before, but I cannot find one, so my request is for the quiver to be moved from the shoulder to a more stylish and sexy position right across the back of the waist.

These arer the only pictures I could really find that seem to have the type of quiver I want.

I see what you mean now...but that would require more than just a model position change. It would really need an animation alteration as well. Right now, the draw arrow animation reaches over the shoulder and pulls an arrow from the back (over the shoulder. Placing it where the arrows are facing in that direction would mean the animation would have to be changed drastically to accommodate the different position...otherwise the player will magically pull an arrow from his spine.

Not sure if this helps, but Grummites have this kind of quiver and animation (I guess that means sexy Grummites
The first time I saw one of those things calmly pluck an arrow from the quiver in that style, staring dead eyes glowing in the dark tunnel, freaked me out.

I could do it, actually it's easy, piece of cake really.
but like LHammonds said : it would require a new "draw arrow" animation, I am not willing do it, maybe later.
BTW, "a model position change" is a bad idea, the easiest way would be to edit the Quiver bone.

As I said before, just a humble request my friends. Do it or don't, I just felt it'd be a little more awesome.
But I do appreciate that I'm actually getting some feedback!
Otherwise I'd feel like some lone nut... >.>
And lol, sexy grummites.
And I just realized...
THE LHammonds posted in my topic. I feel honored. Don't ask why, I think it's just the simple fact you coined "Omod ready format" but it still feels like an honor to have your attention good sir!

the type of quiver you are talking about is called a belt quiver or a hip quiver. it would be cool to see this in oblivion. however potential problems do exist. due to the nature of a hip quiver, it would sit near to where a sheathed sword sits on the PC. as long as the potential modder is aware of this, then they can avoid clipping altogether. as well as clipping with armor, etc. on the note of the animation.. it kind of already exists. the draw 1h weapon animation could be used to get the arrow from the hip (i believe) and you could maybe mix into it the Nocking of the arrow from the original draw arrow animation.
Just a thought.
Just a thought.
