Does this Mod work with the german version as well?
I don't mind if some dialogues will be in english. Just want to know if there are any technical problems?

@AdmiralCrunch
It should work, several people using the localised versions of Dragon Age report that it works but all of Morrigan's dialogues revert to english but the restored content will be present. This is a shortcoming of the toolset sadly as it embeds all the english text strings in the exported file.

Thanks for answering. I tried it yesterday and it works. It's a bit awkward but also fun :)
Thanks for this Mod

@newbiebob,

I'm glad you enjoyed it, it is a shame that these scenes never made it into the final game, but they're back in there now :) Yes, the Dark Ritual/Equal Love thing - it is a side effect of the patch, but the patch itself is lore-breaking as Morrigan isn't supposed to be romanceable by female wardens so it's not something I'll be addressing :)

---

Also, just a small update for those with non-english versions of Dragon Age who've shown an interest in the mod. I have made pretty good progress recently and have managed to get Morrigan's restored dialogues to auto-localise into the language of the user. There a few small issues that I need to address before I can release it though. Some preview screens are available in the images section for now :) iirc, these screens were using the spanish talktable but the fix should work for all languages.

I'm having a bit of trouble with this mod. All elements seem to work except a strange issue in telling Morrigan that I had recovered her tome from Flemeth. According to the DAwiki, the player has the option of lying to Morrigan about killing Flemeth, and giving the book over anyways. After going that route, all that happens is she immediately jumps into a dialogue upon my returning to camp everytime thereafter. There is no option to tell her what happened, and I cannot give her the grimoire because it is listed in my inventory as a 'plot' item, and not a gift. If I disable this mod in the DAModManager, the book doesn't even appear as loot. Is killing Flemeth the only option to trigger the quest completion dialogue?

Oh, I just read back some of the comments, which I should have done before. I'm not using any other mod that affects party or Morrigan dialogue files btw.

Ok, since this issue crops up from time to time let me explain how I *know* that this issue is caused by another mod. I know its probably frustrating for me to tell you that you have a conflicting mod installed while you will insist it isn't so, but please take my word for it.

My mod will auto-trigger a conversation with morrigan when certain conditions are met (either killing Flemeth OR leaving the vicinity of her hut with the grimoire in your inventory.)

Now, if no other conflicting mods are installed then the correct conversation branch will fire, which is the restored one regarding the Grimoire and what happened with Flemeth. You can see this entire sequence of events happening in my preview videos, in which I do not kill Flemeth. This video runs through the whole sequence proving it works as intended so long as no conflicting files are installed.

If you are not getting this dialog it is because some other mod is overriding morrigan_main.dlg and/or one of her plot or script files, replacing all my fixes with the original broken branches, hence why the "correct" conversation never appears.

So, if you're automatically getting thrown into a conversation with morrigan each time you return to camp, that indicates that the auto-banter script part of my mod is working correctly. If however, the wrong dialog appears then it can only be caused by another mod using morrigan_main.dlg or her plot/script files. (My auto-banter script only fires when all the relevant flags have been set at flemeth's hut.) Any other mod that effect morrigan_main.dlg will simply reinstate all the bugs that my mod fixes.

Since you've mentioned DAModder, I'm guessing you've used the DAZIP version. Either another mod with Priority 100 is overriding my fixes or you have problematic files in your override directory.

Solutions:

-First, I'd search for any morrigan related files in your override directories and delete them if any are found.

-You can try using the manual install version which will give my fixes precedence over any other installed mods - this will ensure that the game uses my morrigan_main.dlg file. Bear in mind as well that if any other mod is altering her plot files (.plt) or script files (*.ncs) then the relevant checks and plot flags won't work, my mod needs absolute priority over all her files if you want everything to work correctly. Run through the list of changed files and make sure none of them exist in your override directory before installing the manual install version.

-If you still want to use the DAZIP version, you'll have to dig through the .erf container files of all your other installed mods to see which one is altering her files.

-You can give yourself the gift version of the grimoire with the console command I listed on a prior page, but I am positive you have a conflicting mod installed and you will not be experiencing all the fixes and continuing to play with a semi-working installation of the mod is not advisable.

@Devlog,

Glad you got it working - it's the Alistair Dialog Patch, the reason its incompatible is it makes maybe two small changes to morrigan_main to stop her referring to Alistair as king (whilst reinstating all her bugs...)

I've encounter another problem, I got the "Tis' cold in my tent" dialogue upon returning from Flemeth's hut instead of the "You return from the Wilds" conversation, I tried exiting and returning to camp, but after that the dialogue that triggers is "(Laugh)". Does being in a romance with her conflict with the dialogue triggering?

Hmmm, never encountered that myself, sounds like a similar issue to Devlog's.

Being in a romance has no impact on whether she brings the conversation up. The newly restored dialog is several branches higher on the dialog tree than "Tis cold in my tent" so the restored dialog will always trigger before it does if there are no conflicts with other mods. I'm gonna surmise its a conflicting mod.
