From a modeler's viewpoint, what would be the best way for me to present an original armor design or a retexture? I've been thinking of mixing massive armor with witch robes for awhile now - and of course I want to be able to color the armor as well. I've thought about just taking screenshots and cutting/placing different pieces of armor together to make something new.
I can't do the modeling itself, but I can do the designs and artwork.

Funny you should ask about that particular combination. I've been so busy trying to keep up with what we already have planned that there is an armor just like you describe that I promised Thor I would do some texture work for but just haven't gotten to yet. If you would like to take a look go to http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=1095 and see what kinds of ideas you come up with. It is the Team's EnArmored mod and is essentially a witch robe with a massive armor look and stats.

"would love to see it for all races"
If you had a choice:
1. Spend time on giving all races the same textures
2. Spend that time on making something different, and just as good, for the other races
I vote for #2
If we had more team members, then yes.
BTW, you may have noticed, only me and motseer are active.

Uploaded a alternate mesh for the cry babies.
IMO, having panty textures or a panty mesh underneath the original would look better.

Now then, folks, I'm gonna let you all in on a little secret. Look at the time stamps on Thor's last two posts and that will tell you about how much time he spent on the alternate mesh. Thor may not be the most diplomatic modder here but don't let that fool you into thinking he doesn't care. He certainly didn't spend 5 hours making it for himself.
I've had the pleasure of working with and learning from him for just over a month now. I've been downloading and enjoying his work MUCH longer than that. This is the main reason that I have set myself the goal of making (at least) one of his mods #1. Perhaps even a file of the month.
Right now this page has the most potential to do that. I've looked CLOSELY at all the other (popular) armor mods. Before Blade Dancer I was telling myself we were getting in the same league. With Blade Dancer I can honestly and objectively say there isn't a better one out there.
So, all of that is preamble for letting everyone know that the white Wolf Dancer version and a light armor for Elven females are still in the works - and I will begin working again just as soon as this page has 60 endorsements.
Respectfully,
motseer

Is it possible to make this usable by other species then Humans?
I love your work, but have a cute Elf that is literally turning green with envy whenever she see Liliana pull this awesome suit on
PS I love the change you made to the mesh in the crotch area. Seeing a woman run around with .... well Cameltoe explains it best I think

@MesLiberator
The concept art I made for my white wolf dancer is actually something I made with a Dalish Elf in mind. Parts of it are covered in Hala fur. So, to answer your question - yes, there will be a version for elves - just as soon as we hit 60.

I've discovered a slight problem...... it seems the mesh replaces the light armor mesh.

@XunAmarox
Hmmm... there has to be another explanation. If you have only installed the Standalone then the mesh and textures have a unique ID that can't replace the vanilla ones. Did you perhaps previously install the Light armor Beta from the Armory page? If so, you could have a stray file somewhere in your override. I use the Standalone and the Beta replacer both and the only problem that has yet to be addressed (for the Replacer Beta not the Standalone) is the need for a remapped dwarf (female) mesh.
