Will it work on English versions of Oblivion? Do I need Chinese language installed? I do not speak Chinese but if I play it in Chinese will I miss out on too much? Will it be a long wait for the English version? This is a huge mod to download and install if I can't play it yet.

it can work on english version of oblivion, but chinese character may not be displayed correctly.
if you can not speak chinese, it is hard to complete quest, although you can buy or get some new clothes, weapons and clutters without completing any quest.

english patch contains only a .esp file(about 1MB),and will be released about 15 days later. so you can download chinese version now, and enjoy it now

Can you provide a general walkthrough here for people who doesn't understand Chinese? Some people might have problems finding where to get the items.

I've tried following the map but can't find the tower/dungeon whatever it is. I've searched everywhere on the southeast of the map.

That guide seems to be an exe file. Is there a text file walkthrough? I don't mind using translation software but I don't really want to install exe files.
