I'm pretty sure someone will find a solution because lets face it, this mod is awesome

I get the CTD too, and I've tried running it both with (including the speedy resources - I had previously been using it for Mafia Part 1, but forgot to uninstall the resources) and without mods. Both times it crashed as soon as I booted up the game with NVSE. I'm not using AWOP either as was mentioned elsewhere in the thread. Hell in my mod list currently, I can't think of a single thing that would've caused any changes to Nipton. It's late here so I wont post my mod list right now, but I'll try and get on it when I wake up tomorrow

Here, I've got a suggestion: How about instead of whining and talking about how terrible Jokerine is for not popping up beside you and holding your hand through everything, why don't we start narrowing down what may or may not be causing the problem? Just post your load order and say whether or not you get a crash after installing the mod. If people that are crashing and aren't crashing have a mod in common, then that mod can probably be ruled out as being the problem. If there's a mod that all the crashers seem to have in common or all the non-crashers have in common, but with nobody in the other group having it, that mod can be scrutinized a little more. You get the point(I hope). I'll go first - I'm not crashing, and here is my load order:

EDIT: Please use pastebin so we don't get a bunch of replies a mile long in succession T_T

In response to post #17764879.

I get what you mean about the whining and complaining, modding is a hobby for those who do it, and we should be grateful. But it is incredibly frustrating when a mod, that seems to have quality and a brilliant idea behind it, is unplayable for quite a lot of people who want to play it.

But in terms of load order... I think the problem is, we're not really getting any help from the people who supposedly got the mod running. Besides Jokerine's load order (and yours, thanks by the way), we don't exactly have an idea of what could be potentially making this mod work or not work. Because I deactivated all my mods, absolutely all of them, in an attempt to get this to work. Hell, I even theorised that it might even be conflicting with the Old World Blues DLC, given Nipton's proximity to the Mojave Drive-in. so I deactivated the DLCs as well. I still got the crash to desk top immediately, after opening the game.

That being said, I did make some progress, which might help people.

After downloading manually, rather than using the mod manager, and then extracting ALL the files, not just the main file but all of them, into my data folder, where other mods go. I did get as far as the bit before the loading screen and after all the company logos, right before the main menu appears. Then it crashed. It's not much, and hasn't made the mod playable, but it's at least a step in the right direction.

Here's my load order anyways,

Edit: I also tried (again) last night, with the fresh installation, the Speedy Resources workaround, but it didn't work for me.

In response to post #17764879. #17766849 is also a reply to the same post.

Maybe Jokerine could reupload the mod, normal version and a FOMOD version and see what happens

I have yet to compare the load orders, but I'll say for starters that it's either impossible or very unlikely for two mods that add things close together to crash your game upon startup, like this mod and OWB or AWOP. Often times you'll just get a very weird-looking part of the world where two mods added things to the same place and everything is all goofy and intersecting. I'd think the only crash from things being two close is if there's multiple mods running in a small area with lots of NPCs, like having Monster Wars and DFB's Random Encounters load encounters in the same area, causing an out of memory crash, etc.

Anybody tried checking "load loose files" in the data files menu and see if it helps?

I'll start off by saying im pretty far from an expert but anyway i think i found a problem some may be having.

I was using NMM and it was crashing every time even after messing with the load order and a few of the other mods. Then i noticed that the only thing in the data folder was the esp which was way too small. i think  It was missing all its associated files.

So i redid the installation manually and first try the game loaded no problems. I haven't played through it yet but the game seemed to run fine.

I think the problem everyone may be having is that NMM is just not installing it correctly.

In response to post #17787954.

I dunno how you did it, or what you did differently but I did what you said in here, install the mod manually and all that but still crashes. Maybe it's a download problem. I'll PM you my email, if you could send me the mod file so I could run the install with that one and see if it works that would be great
