CTD memory fixes no longer fix a thing after reisntalling?

My game worked wonderfully until one good day I had to reinstall, I put the exact same mods in an even better way thanks to the knowledge I already had. Yet my game crashes all the time now. I have Enboost and SMME. On my first game I only had ENBoost and not a single crash in hours of gameplay. Now I have even less mods and ENBoost plus SMME yet the game crashes every 10 min if I'm lucky to last that long.

When reinstalling I made sure to delete absolutely everything so that I have everything at default. I even uninstalled the graphic mods and gave it a go yet it keeps crashing all the time.

Anyone had a problem like this? Is there anything I can do besides quitting this game?

I'm by no means an expert so I probably won't be of much help to you. My game still CTD's every once in a while and they can be the most frustrating, rage inducing thing to happen. Just going to ask some basic questions and I'm sure you probably already did this stuff but just making sure:

1. Have you run your mods through LOOT to sort your load order?

2. Do you run SKSE? If you run the newest version, SMME is no longer needed as the memory patch is already included with SKSE, you just have to enable it via an .ini setting in the SKSE.ini file.

3. I don't supposed you're trying to play an old character from a saved save game are you? I'm assuming you started a fresh brand new game after the reinstall?

4. I was going to recommend the save game script cleaner tool as it help me clean up some rogue scripts...but after checking the page to get the link it seems it's under moderator review. O.o Very odd!

5. This helps you track your memory usage to make sure either SMME or the new SKSE patch is working as intended: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50471/? When you crash you can check your log to see if it was because you have used up all your VRAM. If you crashed and you're under your VRAM usage, chances are it crashed due to orphaned scripts or conflicting mods.

6. Not sure if you've seen this or not.. but this stability guide was VERY helpful to me! I highly suggest reading it!!

Good luck!

Actually I'm just a little dumb today. I "installed" those mods with NMM instead of placing them on the Skyrim folder. So the NMM created a folder for them on Data, I did right now and this far is working fine.

Thanks for the reply, I'll answer you so you didn't waste your time.. kind of.

1-I don't trust LOOT or BOSS.

2-I didn't know that, but I guess having SMME wouldn't conflict if I don't touch the SKSE thing right?

3-Nope, new character, always a new character!

4-If its like TESVedit, I think many mods ask not to use for it deletes scripts or something.

5-Yes! I know this one and it works. Ghopler or Gopher I think made a cool video about it.

6-I actually didn't knew about this one, thanks.

No worries mate! Glad you were able to sort it out...sometimes I think we spend more time tinkering with our mods than playing the actual game! haha...I look at it like a hobby like fixing cars which can be equally frustrating at times.
