Since i registrerd my account yesterday I get this weird error when i try to log in to the mods page:

I don't believe this problem has anything to do with your account being new. I have had a account on nexusmods.com since February of this year and never had an issue with my user name or password; however, starting last week I am unable to log in to the mod site. Every time I try, I get the same error message you are getting.

 

Initially, I thought the site was having a temporary problem that would be remedied but apparently that is not the case. Every time I try to log in to download a mod all I get is: 

 

Error

The site has run in to a problem, please look at the error message below...

You have entered an incorrect username or password.

I've been getting the same error message looking through the forums hoping to find a solution.

Please report on the bugtracker -

 

Most common login problems - caps lock

Mispelled password

Your email server is sending the verification to spam (check your spam folder)

Wrong or misspelled user name

Combination of Google Chrome & Windows8 - For some reason they don't get along - try another browser to see if that works.

not allowing 3rd party cookies

Not allowing Java Script or redirects

Being blocked by your own antivirus or firewall
Proxy settings

 

 

When you report -please give us some information to work with.

What Version of Windows?

What Browser & version - Have you tried any others? Which ones?

What email service do you use?

Geographical location ( country & region)

ISP - who do you get your internet from?

Any error message? - please copy it and paste it into your report

What Antivirus & firewall are you using?

Are you using any proxy service? Which one?

Have you tried to login on a different computer?
