Hard to imagine that this mod has made it this far. This newest version of the mod allows Serana to have some dialogue in Dragonborn. I, once again, do thank the people that helped test Version 0.75 last week as it helped with the release of the mod. With the release of this mod, I am hoping that I made Serana a more immersive follower than what vanilla has given us. Regardless of what the final judgment may be, I am happy with what has been produced so far.

So, what is exactly left with this mod?

The short answer is: A lot.

The long answer is: A hell of a lot.

As stated a few times in the past, Version 0.7-0.8 would have been the point where people could have downloaded the mod and get a sense of completeness with the mod. With the release of Version 0.75, I still hold that to be true. You get a nice chuck of Serana's bug fixes as well as a huge expansion of Serana's dialogue. At this point, I can say that this latest version of the mod makes Serana 'full.'

But I am looking at the future and the future is beyond 1.0. I will continue to march on with developing the mod to 1.0 and getting the mod to the live stage. Once that is done, I will begin to work on 'Phase 3' of this mod, which will be the focus of the entire live stage. It has been talked with a few people on how to approach the future features once this mod enters live stage but it has been kept secret mostly because of difficulty of what I want to implement. I can tell you right now that all the features that will be introduced into Version 1.0+ will wrapped into on big project called Project Sanguinis. This project is a long term feature for the mod where I will push what I can with Serana to her maximum potential.

And here is the kicker: I am not talking about Serana's expansion into other vanilla quests nor quest mods when talking about beyond Version 1.0.

I always thought that Serana was the vampiric answer to Aela that, to be blunt, failed badly. Project Sanguinis aims to rectify that. The spirit (or goal) of the Serana Dialogue Edit was to make Serana one of the best immersive vanilla followers in the game through her dialogue. I still continue to aim to this goal while taking bigger risks with Project Sanguinis. Ultimately, Serana will be just as diverse as Aela, if not more.

So, what about Versions 0.8 to 1.0?

Well, I will be taking a bit of time off to help people test their mods that I promised to do in the past two weeks. Once most of that is settled, I will begin again in September with working on Version 0.8. While Version 0.75 was massive (doubling the size of the mod), Version 0.8 will be small on with expansion into post-quest dialogue and a little bit more dialogue in Hearthfire. I will also be tackling Serana reacting to the player under certain actions (using the Black Books being the centerpiece). It's smaller stuff this time around aimed to expand the mod more while taking a rest after a 2 month trip to get this mod released.

Version 0.9 is where I begin expanding Serana into some other various questlines (Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild, especially). The big one being some of the Daedric Quests, including the House of Horrors quest with Molag Bal. Again, filling Serana out as much as I can.

Version 1.0 will be the coronation of the mod into live with a complete tear down of the mod to rebuild it and introducing Serana to the main questline. Capping off Serana's expansion in all of Skyrim. That is not to say I will not be adding other things in Versions 0.8-1.0 along the way. But the main goals of the next 3 Versions are at least laid out to everyone. I aim to have Version 1.0 out on January 1, 2015; making 2015 the year of Project Sanguinis.

But for now, enjoy Version 0.75 and expect more updates down the road.

Awesome, a new status! One thing I'm not entirely sure about though was the compatability with other mods. If, for example, a custom dungeon is marked as a draugr tomb, or a custom necromancer area, would/does it have her comment something about it being as a tomb or lair?

In response to post #17869024.

To be honest? I don't know.

I am under the assumption that probably not because of how Serana is coded in the game. The fact I spend a month to make Serana 'weather mod' proof makes me believe that it is not the case.

Of course, I could be wrong.

One thing my friend brought up to me is that Serana doesn't really react to fighting other vampires. I don't know if that's something within the scope of the mod but logically she'd comment on them in some way, right? Other than that, loving the mod so far. :>

In response to post #17887904.

That aspect has been talked about and might be implemented in Version 0.9-1.0.

Fantastic!
I always thought Serana was kind of a flat, even boring follower. Her dialogue seemed extremely generic and rather dull.
However I can see this mod aims to fix that, and just over what I've read and seen I'm glad I've found it. Keep up the good work with this! I'll be excited to see more.
