Game CTD's when I select female Khajiit.

Hello, I'm fairly new to mods and I've reached the limit of my understanding. I've never posted here before, so I'll try to be as helpful as I can and follow the template suggested for asking for help.

ISSUE:
The bizarrely specific problem I'm running into is when I create a new female khajiit character, the game crashes to desktop. I've checked and double checked to make sure none of the other species are affected, the male khajiit works properly as well. It ONLY crashes when I select female Khajiit.


SYSTEM:

Windows 7

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4800+ 2.50 GHz
RAM: 4.00 GB
System type: 64-bit Operating System

My game is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim

I am using Nexus 0.52.1 in conjunction with steam workshop mods (though this hasn't usually been an issue) and I'm also using BOSS.

 

I have Dawnguard, Dragonborn and Hearthfire DLC.

(as an aside, I haven't used TES5Edit before and that warning under Northern Bathouses concerns me a little.)

 

 

Now, I've restarted the game without mods, I've double checked that known troublemakers like Apachii hair aren't responsible (though I could have missed it, I never saw it in my logs) and I've did a clean uninstall of the game twice and that's about as far as my knowledge of mods will take me.

 

I've even verified the integrity of the game cache on Steam.

 

I do have a suspicion about the effects of installing Nude Females by Thepal first, then loading the CBBE Slim, only to delete the latter immediately. Did I overwrite a mesh or skeleton, perhaps? I know about the ShowRaceMenu Precache issue and have even downloaded the ShowRaceMenu Precache Killer mod but has yielded no results. Someone also suggested the OneTweak mod, but it looks to be almost the same thing?

 

Anyway, I'm at my wit's end and I've spent hours trying to fix this. Nothing I've done seems to have worked and I'm afraid of making it worse. I don't even know where to look for a problem. Does anyone know what this is?

i too have started getting CTD's when i select female Khajiit on character creation on a new game or if i change race with showracemenu.

does it after a fresh install and i install new body mods...which i wasnt doing b4.

wondering of Khajiit females in open play/dungeons/towns etc will cause crash too....somethings off
