King_Calenhad_Tomb

Mod development started. Once completed, you will be able to adventure to a recently discovered Tomb of King Calenhad - resting near Lake Calenhad. This adventure will compose of 7 maps total, with a custom designed final room.

I am taking ideas of what YOU would like to see for this dungeon. Any idea is welcomed!

So far the person requesting the mod asked for:
- Undeads who are sworn to guard Calenhad for all eternity
- A dungeon filled with traps
- End reward is the "Silver Knight" armor.

For those interested in my previous work, look up "Temple of Vulak".

looking forward for your next mod!

maybe it would be interesting if you make the dungeon/area small and combinate it with other travellpoints at the map.

maybe with a questpoint at the map with a trader, where you get back, even when you have already finished your add-on.
sorry for my english, hope you got my ideas.

fact is: when i have finished your add-on, as normal i would de-install it, but when you make some other points of interest with a nice landscape or walkable houses/castles/shops, there is no need for de-install, cause everyone can enjoy your mod in further projects.

do you know what i mean?

a wood with cursed werewolfes, a dragon at the top of a mountain,...

ONE idea is a longt time in my head: very cute must be to get as companion a small dragonling what is with getting exp points larger to a dragon and later to a highdraon maybe with a backgroundstory that you must bring him back to the mountain with his family and make frindship with dragons??

a dragon as friend and companion?!

I think for the armor at the end it would be cool if it was a retextured version of the ceremonial armor, with a retextured version the the executioner's helm, it's heavy armor that looks good, and it doesn't inhibit archery for those that use it. it would probably be good to make a sword and shield that goes with it, and some matching accessories, you know a whole equipment set.

Perhaps have the final room when you reach Calenhad's resting place lined with guardian 'statues' that come to life to defend him against your tomb robbing nature - like the statues of knights in Red Cliffe castle that activate near the chamberlains quarters after you free Teagan from the demon's control.

would be nice if this can be added to the main origins game and not a separate campaign. the group kind of stumbles into this legend and goes on in search of the armor as they believe it can help them in their quest to destroy the darkspawn. there'd be a problem with the vo's, i know, but i'd just like to dream.

anyways, i'd like to see a lot of puzzles (think sacred ashes bridge, but not that hard), so it won't be all hack and slash. also, a room with a time limit, where you have to kill all enemies in there, before the room collapses, or closes, or the floor opens up and you fall to your doom. and boss encounters that has phases that would really require you to use tactics. lots of good loot as well.

Ooo nice one. Kind of like a Indiana Jones thing. Like there are squares on a floor in the hallway and if you don't walk on certain ones, a spike shoots up your arse, or poison gass starts to shoot out or flame bursts out from the floor. The traps do enough dmg, you can't just walk through, but the door at the other end remains shut unless you hit all the 'safe' squares so you can't just renew and run through.

Uhh..companion mods are a ton of work and, unless the effort is made, incompatable with each other. (Have to modify the char_stage so each custom companion will even show up in the party picker.)
I suggest instead of going through all that, you may want to try this instead.
