Novous
Hello all, I've just purchased a msi-GE70 apache pro Specs being : 12gb ram and 2gb vram, clocked at 2.6ghz. Now, my problem is that whenever i use "Realvision mod" my fps goes down to like 12-20.1 highest. What can i do to fix this? Thanks in advance! camaro_69_327
I don't have a laptop but....things to look into..... ENB on a laptop may need you to use the Injector version to get it running....make sure the Correct GPU is being used Onboard VS Discreet Nice choice for a laptop tho...:)
Akreontage
When I use enbs like realvision I get huge fps drops on Gtx680 and i7-3930k 4.4Ghz. And by huge drops I mean fps is below 60 mostly. Without enbs it's 80-140. In some specific points it can drop to 35~fps. I am not a big fan of enbs since I think they degrade graphics in most cases (not all) and I don't use them except memory patches from Boris and stuff... I am sorry to say that but I don't think there is something wrong with your laptop. It just can't handle enb. As the practice shows laptop gpus are much less powerful and are not so good for gaming. Also Skyrim itself is very CPU demanding game and benefits from higher clocks. Anyway can try to tweak your laptop (turn page file off, unpark cores, turn off windows search services and stuff) but I bet you won't get much better results than you have now. Akreontage
As far as I understand you are talking about this thing: http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GS60_2PE_Ghost_Pro_3K_Gold_Edition.html#hero-specification If so then for GPU comparison look at this page http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-880M-vs-GeForce-GTX-680And remember that 870m (the one installed in msi gs60) is a bit weaker than 880m. Since I already told you what I get from gtx 680 make conclusions by yourself. P.S. And here is direct comparison of 870m and 680: http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-870M-vs-GeForce-GTX-680 Edited August 31, 2014 by Akreontage
Novous
Yes, I see what you mean now, also I'm not having any lag anymore, it seemed that it was just that enb, since it had enb booster in it.Thanks for all the help though.
