A better comp? Dream on. I have stuff that was top of the line about 2 months ago. I have a very good comp.

Try turning off or disabling all programs running in the background that you don't need. TESCS would crash every time I saved or exited. I brought it up on the official forum, someone suggested this to me (which I really should have figured out for myself), and I haven't had a problem since. Norton Antivirus is especially a great resource hog.

yah, strange how anti-virus proggies tend to take up and make up so many of the bugs ive had.

Next time you upgrade build areal basic computer from your old stuff with just a HD, CD Writer and modem and keep the filthy Internet/Virus scanner issues off your best computer.

Or you can decide to not have your computer utterly nuked by viruses and use a virus scanner, and just remember to turn it off when using TESCS.
