I even tried setting it to 1 and he will not die. I even tried hitting him from a distance with fire and he will not die. Thnx for any solutions. ACAkutare Posted September 3, 2014 Share Posted September 3, 2014 Okay, you're missing some key information. 1) WHO are you trying to kill?2) Is your copy of Skyrim legit?3) What is your mod list, perhaps one of those is interfering?If you're trying to use console commands, you have to enter it properly. It's setessential <base id> 0|1.The base ID is not the PRID you see when clicking on them in the console.If you provide a bit more information, we might be able to help you. That she would then be sent to Honorhall and you could adopt her from there. However, if " you" killed them, Svari would know but not necessarily hold that against you. I've adopted Runa with no problems but didn't care much for Babette, so I unadopted Babette. I don't particularly like the small adult as child Mod either for adoption. I used Tweak Make Follower & took Addvar & Greta to Robbers Gorge & even had a random Blood Dragon attack them also. It didn't matter if I set Essential to 0 or to 1...they would not die. I even cast Fire on them from a far off hidden position so as to "try" not to be directly involved in their slaying. Reading this back even sounds like an awful way to adopt a child..xD Just curious now as to how info gets posted that actually isn't accurate.
