what script command makes custom text pop up on the upper left of the screen?

Just wondering, I plan on making a custom greater power for a birthsign and I want it to display a custom message when used, both when first casted and when its ended. I just want to know the script command that does that.

Message and MessageEx

MessageEx extends the formatting options - requires OBSE,

 

Note that the messages on the top left are sown one at a time, so if your script generates a message, it will only be shown after other messages that may be on the queue at that particular time.
