Joedpa
I thought that posting this would not be necessary, but this is getting me nuts! I have 7 different ways that Skyrim could not let me play, here they are:1.- Mod Organizer, double click, nothing happens.2.- MO, loading logo stands still and I have to end process with task manager.3.- MO, click run, stands in loading "unlock" button and have to end process.4.- SKSE stands still and never dissapears the cmd screen and the game does not open so I have to close SKSE and do everything again.5.- After SKSE a message can appear saying that did aplication did not load, so I have to restart Steam.6.- The game freezes in the main menu, and I have to close it.7.- Sometimes after closing the game that way Steam closes too and after going through the 4 first problems I sometimes end up with the Steam update window, and have to go through the process again. Why... just... why? I sometimes can't play the game after 30 minutes trying!!! Because I encounter any of these problems!!!
notmyhome
Please give us your system specs and mod list. Might be just performance issues. Otherwise updating drivers might help.
Shadeybladey
You may have esps in your plugins.txt and loadorder.txt mod list that are not installed. That is most often what causes things like this. If that does not help, I'd verify your files and game cache and start again.
Nudedragon
You might want to consider a clean install.
Joedpa
I have a laptop. My mods are pretty much a very very lot of them. I use 5 different characters with different play styles of each of them, so you can imagine...the dxdiag tells me this: http://s28.postimg.org/mzug38gwd/specs.jpg Also 8GB RAM and 64-bit system.203 Gb free of 672Gb. And if I highligh the winrar archives in my folder named "Skyrim Mods" I get 983 items... I installed everything in my job's computer too, which is a less powerful computer (desktop CPU) that runs Skyrim at 20 FPS with settings on low. But I do have just 20 mods installed there... notmyhome
You don't have a GPU? You better not have any "Hi-Res" textures installed. Also, your CPU sounds a little weak for a game like Skyrim.

Just to clarify, when I said start again, I meant start organising your mods again. But if you have no Graphics card, you will have problems running the game, but it should at least load unless you have a load order conflict or missing esps. Have you EVER got Skyrim to run on that machine? ~

I have an AMD Radeon. Well, I do have Hi-Res textures but just because some armor or sword or even body mods don't come with a lower resolution. I play the game on Medium setting, with a few tweaks of mine. And I ran Textures Optimizer. Considering that my job's computer is bad and it does not encounter this problems.... I can only imagine that it has to do with so many mods. As I said... 983 rar-7zip- and other downloaded mods in a folder. notmyhome
Just because these archives lay around in a folder doesn't mean they cause problems. My Skyrim Mods Storage folder holds close to 1400 archives, amounting to more than 40GB.
