Chibievil has a similar mod Return to Highever up and running. Both mods look great but can only run one at a time, could you colaborate and make one amazing mod????

What do you think???
Your mods are fab so a colaboration would be great

Naomi,
I already sent Chibievil a PM. He/she said the mod is too hard to complete and said for me to go ahead and work on it. I've been following Return to Highever for a bit, and it has had no progress unfortunately. I made this mode in less than 3 days =( Today is the 3rd day, and its mostly work on fixing problems and releasing v.2. I don't know if I can work on a delayed schedule.

i stopped working on it because my toolset keeps crashing and i uninstalled it and so now it dont work full stop
you can continue work on it if you like i dont mind, i dont think i will continue it as it too much work
i think i will stick to small projects
-------------------------------------
Have you played through v.2 yet? Any encounters with bugs? I'm mostly looking for bug reports at this time. I'm playing through as I type. I'm about to assault the bedroom area of the castle! So far, no bugs from me. I'd love to hear how you guys are doing.
Edit: I just got a PM from a fan who said they just completed it, and was interested in doing voice overs for me. Seems to be working. Keep me updated guys!

Mjharper,
Haha that would be great! BUT, i have no intention on altering core game files =/ My intention is only to provide something fun for everyone. I try to tie in story the best I can, add innovative features with every mod release, etc... Since im not a professional, the last thing I want to do is alter 'your' core game files and screw up your game by accident. =)

About to hit the bedroom (didn't do the main hall or the chapel yet) and so far no bugs. One typo ('Howe Sergent' in one of the minor bedrooms).
I completely understand as far as core files are concerned. But maybe this could be something which could be implemented by the author of Dialogue Tweaks? I might suggest it over there...
Off to work now, will finish playing through later.

It helped! Just completed the Mod. Loved it. No major bugs at all. If you could polish the VOs, that would be awesome. (I'm no actress but I'll gladly record stuff for you, hope the quality my laptop mic will provide won't suck as much as my acting!^^) And maybe add more elaborate dialogue as well as a few cutscenes, maybe? Maybe people could tell a Human Noble about her/his parents & Oriana & Oren and a mission could be created about recovering their bodies and having Mother Mallol hold a proper funeral for them? And since Duncan came from Highever according to Alistair, maybe a Duncan/Alistair related quest? Just thinking aloud here, no pressure!

I had to download the mod from the Seattle server for it to work, also this time I downloaded v2 since the first time I downloaded it, v2 wasn't up yet. No issues this time around.
Is there any way to have it so that the two side rooms before you get to the Cousland's quarters aren't area transitions, and, after liberation, if the main bedroom wasn't an area transition, same with the vault? Also, since there is a vault and the castle is basically yours, what about a chest in the vault for storage? I know there are mods out there for storage but that would be the icing on the cake.
That, and since it loads as if you're going to camp, someone else's suggestion of making it a camp like atmosphere would be great, where you can have your own room (would suggest separate rooms also for Alistair, Zevran, Leliana, and Morrigan as they're romancable characters - just spread the others somewhere throughout the castle).
Otherwise, this is an awesome mod. Played through it and enjoyed it immensely. If I knew how to do voice-overs, I'd offer to help

PersephoneC,
Im glad you enjoyed the mod! Ya, there is a lot of potential to branch off this idea. Everything comes down with time tho haha. I decided to use a computer generated VO simply because.. well VO is very hard to get right. A bad VO can spoil a good/decent mod.
I've pumped out 3 mods within the last month. Every mod i've attempted to challenge myself with different aspects of the toolset. So, im learning =) I'll gladly work with anyone for this mod/future mods provided I have time to keep making them. When the time comes, i'll PM you ^^.
Anyhow, i'm glad there is no bugs. The only part I HATE (and I absolutely HATE HATE this) about making these mods is debugging. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack... it consumes my entire day lol.

CelticDream,
I'm glad it worked for you! I was going to tear my hair out trying to find out why that icon wasn't working... because I know it works. haha.
You're the second person with problems downloading from a particular server.. Maybe it's corrupted there. I'm not sure.
The game map comes with 2 versions of Cousland. A "Day" and a "Night". Night time is obviously when the castle get's assaulted. The bedrooms and the vault is ONLY available on the night map. Bioware left the bedroom and vault UNFINISHED on the day map.. so in the toolset, it's a blank space. The best thing I can do is link the bedroom/vault transition the way I did... or leave those areas unable to travel. I felt giving people the option to travel via 'transition' was the better choice.
I included a party storage near the entrance of the castle. When you enter the castle, head to the right guard tower. There is an NPC storage there. I didn't want to put the storage so far into the castle due to 'convenience' purposes.
Assuming this release is bug free... My next goal is to make it so the party breaks up like you're in camp and move each player into their own area of the castle. This probably requires extensive script work... so might be a while before I figure out how to do this.

Hadn't realised he'd stopped working on his. Sad as it had potential. Will load yours and see how it goes. I did post comments on his as he asked for ideas for storylines etc and I told him how it could tie up with some other mods ie Return to Ostagar etc.
Love your work please keep it up.

Naomi,
Ya definitely load up this mod. I did spent half of the development time figuring out how to lay this out so it makes sense. It should be pretty fun! After your playthrough, let me know what you think.
Edit - when you download V.2.. make sure you download from Seattle server. People are reporting a certain server is giving corrupted files.
