After The Warden kills Howe, when attempting to rescue Queen Anora; and after the Blight is thwarted, Highever is granted back to the remaining Couslands, and Fergus is made Teyrn. -Dragon Age Wiki

Does this actually happen? I haven't gotten that far in the game yet myself to know. If it does perhaps Fergus should appear in the Castle after the aforementioned events take place, or something.

I also agree with an earlier post that Cousland Wilds should be renamed to Highever Wilds, or just to Highever. The mouse over description on the map could maybe then be changed to "One of the two Remaining Teyrnirs of Ferelden, which is ruled from nearby Castle Cousland."

Awesome mod so far though.

Syrcanus,

Thanks for the support! Glad you like it so far. I'll continue to make tweeks in the future. Most important is to make sure the release is stable and bug free. Once im 100% past this hurdle, adding content, changing text, fixing spelling errors is easy. I will continue to take suggestions and bug reports until I releave v.3.

V.3 will patch in a quest for the heroes to take on - accessed directly at the keep. The wheels are turning on my next expansion haha. Giving the warden a castle really opens up creative freedom for me to add quests.

As far as the end of the game goes... after you defeat the archdemon, the game goes into story mode - so whether I make Fergus spawn or not, its irrelevant. You don't get to come back here after you beat the Archdemon. I wont spoil the ending for you, but essentially the game "ends". You are not bound to the castle obviously, as you continue your journey into Awakenings. I'm sure Fergus takes back the castle at that time. In the mean time, you are castle-sitting for his return =)

I can't believe you got this up already! Great job! BW ought to just hire you, and be done with it, lol.Of course, that would probably slow you down considerably.

I installed and played the first relese and it was good how ever as a thought the caste icon was nearly imposible to see because of the WARDENS ESTATE mod which hid your castle, however the otherside has soldiers peak on it so I sugerst that you move the castle icon to the village and thw wilds icon to below it in open country.

I think the real benefit of having an estate is the ability to collect taxes. Is there any way this could be implemented into the mod. Say every 2 hours of game time the warden could go back and collect taxes?

Jolob,

Ahh okay I don't have Warden Estate so i'm unsure where he put the icon. This is an easy fix.. i'll move the map icon in the upcoming release. probably will have to wait a few days until I add in a follow up quest for the Cousland Cellar - after you claim the castle.

Calaelen313,

In theory, it would be great to add 'gold' into the game for players via tax. But that would just be pretty overpowered especially if a player got the estate at level 9. They can leave the game on over night, come back and have 100 gold, buy everything they need. haha. Well.. i'll think about it. =)

Ooohhh... this sounds great! I have downloaded and will install later tonight after work. It's particularly exciting for me b/c my current character is a Cousland - yay!

One question - you said the NPCs sell all items in the game... does this include Shale's Crystals? It would be SO NICE not to have to go to Orzammar every time I want to buy a new Crystal (and also phase in and out until the one I want randomly generates). I use Shale as my primary tank on some playthroughs and would love to be able to purchase Crystal upgrades instead of trucking over to Garin or praying for a good drop.

I'll be playing this anyway, but if the Crystals are available for purchase (or could be added in a later version *g*), that'd be the icing on the cake!

Many thanks for the very cool sounding mod - can't wait to play it!

@ICevol
The new version doesn't have nerfed merchants. They are normal merchants.

Hi funnyfiggy,

I'm not sure what "nerfed" merchants are... I'm a newbie (*ducks*)

I don't want to use this as a cheat (if that's what nerfed refers to) -- I'm perfectly happy to buy the Crystals at the same price/level they would be at the Orzammar merchant. I just wondered if they were for sale at the castle (or could be). If one of each "element type" were available at the correct level scale, it'd save me some aggro, that's all :)
