KakushiSenshi
I was running through windhelm when I saw this bug making two textures overlap each other in a weird way. I don't think it's z-fighting because the textures don't flicker with each other. They are certainly not supposed to be there. It should be either one stone texture or the other, but there's two. It's not just in this corner, it's throughout the WHOLE Dark Elf slum in Windhelm and nowhere else where two types of stone wall texture clash. I've reinstalled skyrim twice and loaded up only the vanilla game without mods and without the high resolution texture pack and it still does this:http://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q615/Selsiuss/2014-09-14_00001.jpghttp://i1166.photobucket.com/albums/q615/Selsiuss/2014-09-14_00005.jpg
Valkasha
And how are you so certain it doesn't look like that in vanilla? Looking at screenshots of the gray quarter in google I see the same thing on nearly every one. Edited September 14, 2014 by Valkasha
KakushiSenshi
If that's how it looks in pure Vanilla then I'll use a texture replacer. It does not look right for two types of stone stacking to merge together like that. One one side it's clean cut big blocks, and on the other it's haphazardly stacked stone. If Bethesda thinks that looks good then they can fall in a ditch. I'm going to use the Osmodius texture packs.
Valkasha
Go for it. I personally use tamriel reloaded but osmodius looks sweet too.
